Not pleased
While I am going to try this again, my first experience was awful. The lock never unlocked with my iPhone nor iPad. It didn't come in the same package as was shown on the youtube unboxing videos. The battery level out of the box was LOW. I wonder if this was a defective product or something awry here. I am returning and repurchasing. If the next one is bad, I'm done. Great idea but execution horrid.UPDATE: the second one finally arrived. The firmware was out of date, the battery was low, I can't believe this was new. It was in a box that is unlike that which is illustrated on the Noke website.

Neat concept, but lacking :-(
Neat concept, but lacking... Requires multiple attempts to unlock. Not durable, don't drop on hard surfaces.

I like it, it is very easy to use, very convenient, sharing options make it more fun.although if it happens you were logoff from the app and did not have data or WiFi coverage you are in a trouble. the same for who ever you are sharing the access with and requested that they have Internet connection, they will have hard time unlocking the lock.

Noke more like Nopen
Product came but the app will not scan and find it. Sadly I'm in the bottom 10 percent of people having problems. No matter how long I hold down and release the lock the app never finds it and I can't unlock the lock. The light never blinks though it is unclear if it should when you try to install it.

Extensive experience... Read this to understand what you getting!
My company has owned 12 separate NOKE locks over the past 3 years including both first and second generation locks. The concept is absolutely fantastic! So much so that we kept trying to make this work even long after we should have given up. The second generation of this lock works fairly well if you are indoors. Contrary to what the description says this lock will not hold up over time outdoors. Any adverse weather (yes rain or snow but also very hot or cold weather) will kill it and leave you unable to access your locked valuables. We ended up purchasing a generator and metal grinder to have on hand to cut the locks off whenever they failed. The app and website interface are pretty buggy, and NOKE once accidentally destroyed a feature that was working (lock schedules) while trying to fix something that wasn't working (timezones) and it took 6 months for them to get the feature back into working order. All of that is pretty bad but the worst of it is the service/support. There simply isn't any. There is no phone that is going to be answered by anyone. There odds of an email response are about 10% of the time you get anything back and always with 1-2 week response time. That is literally of no use when you have a team of employees who cannot access a property because of a software bug in the cloud. I truly wish different people owned the idea because the idea is great, but seriously don't waste your money or time or submit yourself to the frustration this is being a NOKE lock owner. Life is too short.
