Quad Lock Case iPhone X - Black

The case it does what it says on the tin, it locks with a satisfying click and has no chance of accidentally coming loose. The iPhone fits snugly into the case and has good access ability to all of the buttons and switches. while the case itself does feel a little bit cheap in terms of the plastic manufacturing, it isn’t a problem, and it is the perfect solution for mounting your phone to your bikes handlebars.

The quality of the case is premium and it holds the phone tight which gives a good feeling that my phone is really secured.

The quad lock case is fine, a bit bulky on the phone, but solid and well fitting..However, if you want to use it on mounted on your motorcycle, the vibrations sent through this mounting system has a very real danger of damaging your phones camera sensors.A quick google of this issue will find dozens of people with the same issue, especially on iPhones. It damages the sensor and the entire phone needs to be replaced to repair it.It saddens me that they sell this item for motorcycle use when it’s clearly not suitable for it.EDIT: Since I reviewed the case in 2020, QuadLock now sell a vibration dampener that apparently fixes this issue, it fits beneath the lock and is available on Amazon.

Auf der Verpackung ist angegeben, dass der Artikel Chemikalien beinhaltet, die Krebs auslösen oder zu Missbildungen beim Fötus führen können. Bei einer Handyhülle, die ständig Hautkontakt hat, empfinde ich das als sehr bedenklich - vor allem für diesen hohen Preis.Mir persönlich ist die Hülle außerdem zu eng und fest. Das Risiko, dass beim An- und Ablegen das Handy verbiegt oder gar bricht, möchte ich nicht eingehen.Aus diesen beiden Gründen, geht die Hülle an den Hersteller zurück. Schade! Das Quadlocksystem an sich ist nämlich sehr gut.

I've never smashed my phone whilst using this case. I went through a stint of not riding my bike, so not needing to clip it into the quadlock, but I still upgraded my phone and still got this case for the new phone, simply because it's a well design case that protects my phone. When I do ride my bike, this case is so easy to clip on and off and use.The only issue I find, is when I first got a quadlock system, I got the mount, the case and the waterproof case all together for a reasonable amount, so it's a shame that you now need to buy it all separately. And for a hefty price.

I do like the quad lock case and the flexibility that is Quad Lock but there are flaws. It is a perfect fit but I find that the cover is still too smooth, nearly as smooth as the iPhone itself. It could actually do with a stiffer ribbed side frame for more rigidity and more grip. In addition I find that the bottom part of the case around the charging port is flimsy and too flexible. Apart from the adaptibility of the Quad Lock system it is pretty much a very average cover!

This is a very nicely made case specifically for the iPhone XR, which fits perfectly, allowing easy operation of all the controls. The locking mechanism by which it attaches to the matching Out Front Mount is ingenious, quick & easy to operate and inspires confidence, in spite of adding little to the thickness of the case. Nothing moves whilst cycling over rough terrain, and unlike many “universal” mounts, there are no rubber bands etc obscuring corners of the screen. A lot of care and attention has obviously been invested in the design and manufacture of this product, and the high price is entirely justified.The simple packaging is welcome too.
