Cernit1-Piece Clay N1 500 G BLACK, BLACK

If there is less than one star i would choose it... I received it hard like rock very very hard to condition or work with it. Its very bad for me as i work with for living and big loss...

The black Cernit I ordered was a little messy. When cutting into the block it leaked black pigment and made a bit of a mess. Once I conditioned it back in, the clay performed well.

Easy to work with.Cheaper than most places.Very good quality for a white clay.

J’aime beaucoup la Cernit, bien plus que la Fimo par exemple.Très versatile, un beau fini et un rapport qualité/prix que je trouve correct pour une pâte polymère de cette qualité.

I'm very new to polymer clay and after reading and listening to many tutorials, I choose this as my number #1 clay to use. But it was easier for me to purchase Sculpey III (which I got very used to). When I found it was not strong enough for my projects I finally ordered Cernit. I was sooo disappointed. First of all, it was very shiny - I was trying to stay away from glossy and stick to matte. When I tore a piece off the block, it fell apart into pieces. It wasn't too dry, it was more like having an eraser that I was tearing apart and trying to condition. When I finished making the flower I wanted, it all melted together before I could bake it. I'm ending up mixing it with the left-over III and Premo that I also purchased. That was a waste of money - but at least I know from my own experience.
