Brilliant hair straightener
Well I've been a GHD girl for years, but thesewere on offer for under £50 so I figured I'd give them a go. Honestly the best straightener I have used for ages, my hair is in so much better condition, even at full price these are worth it.

The Best Hair Straighteners I Have EVER owned!
Sometimes I’m sceptical about reviews for electrical items - people have a tendency to write a review after one use, tell you it’s amazing, but for all you know it broke the following day. So I decided to wait a couple of weeks before writing this.I cannot stress enough, how utterly amazing these straighteners are. Over the years, I have owned many brands of hair straighteners; from cheap ones, to higher end ones. These are without a shadow of a doubt the best ones I have ever owned. I have coloured blonde hair, that’s naturally curly/wavy. Left without any kind of love or management, it can best be described as a hay stack. Previously, to attain poker straight shiny hair I would have to blow dry my hair straight and then straighten it. Lots of heat, lots of damage, and time consuming - more often than not, it would get scraped up in a pony tail and forgotten about. With these straighteners, I can let my hair dry naturally, then straighten - it’s poker straight, shiny, soft and done in less than 10 mins. Never had so much free time on my hands!Good tip - after you fill the tank with water, sit the straighteners with the tank facing downwards to ensure the wick fully absorbs the water - this will mean steam first time every time. You won’t regret investing in these straighteners!

Heats up very quickly
The Remington steam hair straightener is revolutionary. Truly it has a series of controls to give you the exact temperature for your hair, oh and to top it off it adds steam to the hair so it doesn't overheat, gives greater shine to the hair because of the steam it emits out. Doesn't burn the hair (providing the temperature is controlled), straightens hair with one glide of the plates, the water is very little so there's no wastage. Truly a great product.I also purchased the Remington hairdryer also, and the combination together after a wash of the hair is amazing. Glad I did a bit of research, to see which one would be the best for my natural hair; its so powerfully engineered and yet gentle on the hair when regulated perfectly. 😍 😍 😍

Not to bad
The product isn’t too bad but a bit expensive. I expect much more from the product, i used the other cheapest version of remington and do better job. The mist doesn’t appear at all , I follow the steps but really does work for me. otherwise does the job at low 170 degrees .

So good
First pair the water container was snapped but they were replaced no problem. I love these straighteners! The plates are the smoothest I’ve ever clamped my hair in, that includes GHD’s. They glide over your hair. Honestly they’re amazing. The steam comes out as soon as you clamp the hair and it doesn’t make it damp or frizzy at all. I have them on 170° and I only need one pass for my hair to be dead straight. It doesn’t feel like it’s being damaged. I use filtered water as I live in a hard water area. I’d say you get 4 days use out of one fill up of the water tank. They come with a pipet to fill it up. Overall I’d say these are the best straighteners I’ve ever had. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the controls are in the wrong place, it’s easy to switch them off when you’re holding them. But that’s not a big deal and not enough to put me off them.
