I have bought this slegde in Jan 2021 for 25 pounds so was shocked to see the drop of the price which was mainly because of the bad reviews. Mine didn't break and lasted last winter but my son is only 24 kg. It was pricey for its quality.

Just broke on the first run as it were.I am 183cm adultBMI 25

Glides easily on snow. Only used it for a week as we do not get much snow but the kids loved it. 2 kids (toddler and infant) fit easily.

Unfortunately sledge chipped when arrived and base damaged

It's difficult for me to recall the last time I wasted money on something so low quality and so fundamentally 'not fit for purpose'. The thing was so flimsy and the quality of the plastic or the way it was moulded at least was so bad that, in places, it was so thin you could see through the plastic and could probably poke your finger through with little effort.It failed in the one way it shouldn't fail really, it only had one job. Feel conned to be honest. More importantly you can imagine how my (relatively lightweight) 4 year old felt at the top of the hill as this thing broke as he sat on it for the first time!Given the snow and cold that day I'd get way more back by burning the cash I paid for instead it to be honest.

The big kid inside me came out with all the snow in scotland so a sledge was order. Deliverly was earlier than expected which was great! With excitment we got up uber early to head to our local hill before work. Sadly after 1.5 runs the attached pic happened! The sledge is prefect for kids as long as they are small and they will have hours of fun - not for adults or bigger kids though! Too small and not flexible enough. If you buy this for your kids buy a different sledge for you so you don't have to deal with upset kids when mummy or daddy stop the fun by breaking the sledge.
