This compact shredder has limitations
The shredder does what it says on the tin but it heats up and halts. I had to wait for nearly 30-45 minutes for it to start working again. This happened with me after shredding say about 40-50 sheets of papers. It was frustrating experience otherwise it’s a small shredder probably best suited for few pages at a time.

Great wee home office shredder
Bought this wee shredder at a discount from Amazon warehouse. Fast arrival, came with damage package but product look good as new with film stickers still on. I had another shredder for 10 years and still working but had to leave it at my friend's. Presently surprised with this new one's performance and ease of use. It is louder than my previous one but it has a drawer type design for the cross cut paper which is extremely handy. As well as a nice padded handle to lift the shredder and carry it to where ever you like. Took me just under 3 hours with rest time to shred a whole grocery carrier bag of document. I estimate that's about 4000 sheets of documents. Tips for non regular paper shredder, make sure you wait until the shredder had done it's job and the shredder sound has finished before loading more papers. Yes, it can shred 7 sheets of paper but if you going to shred a bag/ box full of document in a go, why would you want to stress the machine so much?? I would just load 3-4 sheets maxi at a time and rotate with 1-2 sheets. This wee home office shredder kept going for half an hour before needing a break. The shredder's drawer design makes left mess than the top lift shredder and so much more convienent to empty the shredded papers which was cutted small enough to prevent faudster from obtaining any information. The removable bin is 12L which is slightly smaller than the more standard 15L ones but hey, it lets the machine rest for 1-2mins whilst you empty the bin which is great if you want to keep shredding for half an hour. My years of documents all shredder under 3 hours, well pleased! Great design and looks good in my home office. Let's hope it last for as long as my previous shredder.

Cannot use safely in Australia
This product came with a UK plug - I inquired through the company that covers the warranty in australia and they replied it was best to get a refund on this product but the return window had already closed

Very good shredder for home and light business use.
This review is for the Rexel Prostyle+ 5 shredder.I very much like this unit, I bought it after shopping around for a cross-cut with a reasonable price (I mean you are just paying for a couple of motors and some blades in a box) and I thought that the price of this combined with the very high reviews probably meant that it would be worth it.The shredder arrived quickly on Prime delivery and I inspected it for any defects, of which I only found one (one of the rotating blades had teeth that were out of line by about an inch - not enough of a problem to send it back, but it does mean that the cross-cut occasionally is twice as long as it should be on one strip. They had evidently run an oil sheet through it in the factory to test/oil it after manufacture. I could tell because there was a small piece of the sheet still in the shredder teeth. Seems like a good practice, and I was happy to see that it had been oiled already.I tested the device on a few sheets and was very happy with the outcome. Having passed my check, I put it to use on chewing up some of our old financial documents which were simply sitting around in the filing cabinet because we didn't want to throw them away without shredding them. It did a fine job. I then used it to chew up an old debit card, which had been sitting around past its expiry date - again it worked admirably. The cross cut size fits the advertised security rating (P-4) in about 99% of cases, with an occasional longer bit slipping through. It is unlikely that you'll need a smaller cut unless you are actually a mafia boss on the run. There is a reverse (helps to clear any jams) and always-on function, as well as an automatic function which turns the shredder on when you insert paper. I haven't yet had it overheat or fail to take/shred paper. I do ensure that I clear the cutters quite regularly to avoid jams before they happen. The device is fitted with a safety feature to prevent the shredder functioning when it's not sitting in the bin, so clearing the cutters is safe. The only downside to this shredder is that the bin tends to fill up as a tower of shreddings, not falling to the sides of the bin. There is a hinged flap on the underside (I have yet to work out the purpose of this) which seems to exacerbate the problem, but it is removable. When this tower touches the cutters, it tends to increase the risk of a jam, as more paper is left in the blades after finishing the shred. Because of this, more regular emptying, a regular shake of the bin or even opening the bin and pressing down on the shreddings is required to utilise the full bin space available. The listing doesn't advertise CD shredding capability, and quite right. I thought 'If it can shred a credit card and it can happily eat through staples, SURELY it can happily shred a CD', so tried this unit with a CD and although it rendered it completely unusable, it shattered it rather than shredded it, and whilst it went through, the entire unit bulged with effort.I've included some pictures for reference which I hope you might find useful.
