Lens fading after a few months
Ordered these glasses a few months ago (second pair) and already the reflective blue coating is coming off on both lenses.

Best affodrably priced sunglasses out there
I've been buying these Calcutta sunglasses for almost 10 years now and am on my eighth pair as I typically lose them after a year or so. They've got to be the best affordably priced sunglasses out there. The lens quality is almost right up there with Ray Bans in terms of optical quality and they are very scratch resistant.

Alot of bang for the buck!
Update 12/2/2018: Loved the first pair so much just received a tortoise frame with amber lense and a matt black pair with grey lenses. The first pair is matt black with green tint lenses and still looks brand new after many hours of yard work and and daily wear. The amber lenses are not as yellow as in the listing photo and have more of a light brown color to them so if you are looking for a pair of sunglasses with lenses similiar to Vuarnets Skilynx amber lenses, look elsewhere. However, the Calcutt's amber lenses are still great and will remind you more of the Ray Ban brown lenses. These sunglasses are a great bargain for the price you pay for them. Decent quality frame material, polarized lenses, and up to date styling makes these sunglasses a cost saving alternative to Costas or Ray Bans by a substantial margin! The rubberized temple lobes and nose pads help these light weight sunglasses stay on the face pretty well. These don't feel as solid as my Persol or Ray Ban sunglasses but will definately not be discounted as cheap junk despite the low price.

From Costas to Calcutta
I lost my $220 Costa Del Mar CatCays and can not afford another pair right now. I needed some descent glasses to hold me over til I could afford to replace them. These Calcuttas are awesome. They are very light, and fit my medium head perfect. The style and quality is exceptional. I got the flat black and green lenses. I can see into the water almost as good as the Costa's, but the Costa's just have that edge that gives them slightly better polarized and color quality. One problem with these: When I look up and down with these glasses, I can see a purple shade appear and dissapear. Kind of like those glasses that have tint at the top but fades into clear at the bottom, but there's a purple spot in the middle it seems. It is slightly annoying but that being my only complaint, I might stick to these and not even buy expensive glasses again. Costa's make a very slight difference in quality, and that slight difference isn't worth $200

Likeable glasses
This is my second pair. I really like the glasses but they scratch pretty easy I think. I had the last pair for bout 2 years but I only wore them on the weekend if I was going somewhere. I wore them to work one time and scratched them, which was my fault but my other glasses handle work without getting scratched. Other than that they are pretty tough look good.

Nice frames, but the lens were suppose to be ...
Nice frames, but the lens were suppose to be grey and I got green. The label on the glasses said grey, but they were green. I bought the prowler and the steelhead in grey and they both came in green. I bout the Calcutta New Wave in green and got multi color amber and they just mess with you eyes. Total CRAP!!! Great frames. As I write this review they have a pic of both glass in front of me on the screen. One of the Steel Head glasses and the other is the Prowlers. I can see the the Prowler Pic is a grey lens and the Steelhead is a green. The reason I mention this is because I thought maybe the grey is just, for some reason, grey-green. but after seeing the pic in front of me I know they do have a real grey. The question is how do you get it when the labels on the glasses are mis-labeled. Cant blame the person packing this Item.

Great for years until the latest purchase
I’ve been ordering this pair of sun glasses for years. Always loved them but bought a pair in February and the first time they got wet the blue coating on the lenses rubbed off with a glass cleaning cloth.

I bought a pair for myself and liked them so much I ordered 3 more for groomsmen ...
I have been using Calcutta glasses for years and these have been some of my favorites.I bought a pair for myself and liked them so much I ordered 3 more for groomsmen in my wedding. I then ended up getting a pair for one of my uncles. These are great glasses for on and off the water. They block the sun without much color distortion and out perform any other glasses in the price range (and a lot of more expensive glasses).I'm a big guy with a big head and these fit me great and I don't have issues with light coming around the frames. One of my groomsmen is a really thin guy with a slim head and he thought they fit great too. His only complaint is that his wife keeps taking them.Wear your Costa del Mar and oakleys to cookouts and where these fishing. I'm on the water as often as I can be and these have served there purpose, held up nicely, and didn't break the bank.

Polarized and Great Value
Really like how dark these light weight sunglasses are. They certainly are a great value for polarized lenses. I have been buying this brand for over 8 years. They are very comfortable and don't give you a headache. Only small downside, the frame tends to crack after about 2 years, but for the price, I can afford to replace. Still a fantastic value for top notch polarized sunglasses. Highly recommend.

Outer film flakes
They are great sunglasses until the mirrored film starts flaking off. 👎

Work great, pulls long hair.
These polarized sun glasses fit great, work well to filter the sun, and are a cool design. The logo on the ear pieces catch my long hair, and often times pulls it out.

Good sunglasses
I like the way the glasses look and the tint on them. Not to dark, just right for use for driving, cutting grass or any recreational use. The only problem I have is that they feel a little crooked. The right side is fine but the left side seems to turn into the eye more. Tried to straighten a bit but to no avail. Not sure how to fix that.
