The VELOCOOL COOLING TOWEL uses the power of evaporation to take heat away from your body, allowing you to workout harder and perform better under hight heat conditions. The VELOCOOL towel is HYPER-EVAPORATIVE PVA - meaning it soaks up lots of water. The PVA material absorbs at least 20 times it weight in water, and HOLDS THE WATER IN. The VELOCOOL towel can remain wet, but YOU don't get soaked. The water stays in the towel to evaporate the heat away! The VELOCOOL towel can stay moist up to 4 hours, depending on local weather conditions (wind, heat, sweat, relative humidity, tempurature). The PVA material outperforms all other fabrics - like microfiber or cotton -when it comes to holding moisture and releasing it over a long period of time. The towel is bonded with a strong mesh inner layer. It will not rip or tear, yet can be cut to size. We sell a 13in x 33in size, but you can cut it to make a headband, or to make it smaller if you need less cooling effect. VELOCOOL is shipped slightly moist to keep it soft. If it dries out, just soak in water, wring out almost all water, and store it moist. Use the package as a storage bag. VELOCOOL is hand washable with mild soap and should be rinsed very well and hung to dry. INSTRUCTIONS: To Use the VELOCOOL, soak it in a bowl of cold water. After soaking, wring out VELOCOOL slightly, so that color remains dark. The dark color change is where the water is. Wring out just enough water so the towel is filled with water, but not dripping. Fold VELOCOOL over, the long way, and place it around your neck like a scarf, reaching down your chest. It will feel a little damp, but the water is in the towel. Now GO!
