Good product
I bought this for my 13 year old. It’s not plastic. It does feel like the real thing, just doesn’t have a blade

Metal
It’s a what it looks like. Not sharp and pretty good for tricks, my only complaint is the handles are a little skinny compared to normal balisongs, but the bearings work well.

Works well, not sharp!
This product is amazing. I just got it today so I can’t say how well it is in the long run, but it’s sturdy, and works well. The only thing that’s meh is that it squeaks a lot. Other then that great purchase! Would recommend

Well, it was stiff when I first got it, now practice Balisongs are supposed to be a little stiff at first, but they should still swing almost all the way open, however as you can see it did not, and then once I got the right equipment to loosen it, the screw wouldn't turn as there was a weird rubber or plastic ring around the screw to provide friction to the screw so it won't turn, yeah its a cool knife and all, but I mean let's face it, the craftsmanship is a bit shoddy, while it is cool and all, any kid who has no experience and is sheltered would assume their ready just because they got a certain motion down to flick it out, until they yet a real butterfly knife like I had that .arched my old 420Steel balisong, then they will really be in a world of hurt, that knife sliced through pepsi bottles like melted butter, imagine you kid flicking their knife a little too hard only to come in and find out they cut their arm or worse, sliced their fingers off, now don't come at me if you were born in the 80's or 90's these were illegal back then and you didn't have trainers, we have trainers because eventually enough of these kids cut themselves and learned that "Hey, maybe we should make a safer alternative and take the blades AWAY from kids" so we have these to provide kids with a little pinch or a rap on the knuckles so yeah it hurts a little, like if you bumped your funny bone, on the corner of a table, but nothing serious, will most likely build a pain tolerance and teach them to not mess with knives if anything, however they do not learn that with this knife, I think that personally if they fixed the kinks, and made them as loose as a real butterfly bit not so loose it feels like it will break, and they just take that stupid rubber piece off or found something that doesn't generate as much friction then it would be an amazing knife for any kid 8 and up, unless your kid is a heathen in which case maybe wait until their 12, other than that pretty safe and can teach your kid responsibility with future knives and anything else, however until Aifusi fixes the kink I recommend going with Balishark or 420Steel.

Okay for its price
I wanted a balisong that was within my budget and good quality. Once I took it out of the box I can immediately see the poor craftsmanship of the knife. It was hard to flip and do tricks with since the blade would get stuck in the handles most of the time, but it did get a bit easier to handle after playing with it for a few hours. Though I did notice that the laches and screws started to loosen. If you are looking for a temporary balisong to play or practice with this would be an okay product for you but if your looking for something long term I would not recommend this.
