Fantastic!
I have several of these excellent scissors. One for each of my sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery and first aid kits - well, you get the idea! I also recommend the Fiskars SewSharp scissors sharpener - great for gifting with these superb little scissors. Excellent scissors, great price. Highly recommend.

Completely Professional Review from a Stuffed Animal Repairman (and sometime haberdasherer)
I do a lot (like, a lot a lot) of plush animal and doll rescue and rehabilitation from thrift stores and donations, as well as making outfits and accessories for them. It's all tiny cuts and careful trimming, along with a great deal of hand-sewing.Our area is populated by mostly new immigrants, often refugees, always with children, and it's not unusual to see people arriving with no possessions save what they could carry in a suitcase or backpack, if even that much. As a result, our area has one of the lowest incomes, highest needs, and highest barriers to assistance in the biggest city in our country. It's so easy to get overlooked. I know; I was one of those kids clutching a ragged stuffed bear and nothing else, 40 years ago. I remember winters being a kick in the gut as we didn't have hats or mittens or scarves, and my father trying to register three children for school with only a basic understanding of either language spoken here.I can't fix school budgets or city funding or make things more fair besides voting, but I'm darned I can't make sure every kiddo in my area has someone soft to love and be there for them and listen to their hopes and fears. I think we all need that, no matter how old we are, so more than a few of these second-chance friends have made their way into adult hands.(My sisters knit, and knit, and knit all year long. One is a kindergarten teacher, the other is a principal of another school. They make sure every new batch of kids get winter gear long before the snow starts to fall. They're far more practical than I am.)A friend of mine runs a children's bookshop here where they have a huge section of used books they trade on credit (which their accountant just LOVES as a business decision), as well as more languages of kids' books than any five other stores here combined. I have a small "Stuffed Animal Hospital" setup in the back, where I will do quick stuffed animal or doll repairs while people browse, or keep them overnight for larger jobs like restuffing.I have gone through a LOT of scissors.According to Amazon, I've gone through two dozen in the last two years, four of which were "titanium tipped" -- and I can believe it, as the fulcrums fell apart long before the tips dulled. I run on a small budget (giving away things for free also is also apparently a poor business decision), but finally went ahead and spent what felt like a painful amount on these. Why I didn't a year earlier, I couldn't tell you. These scissors are fantastic, they're exactly what I needed in scissors, and I'm finally (at 6 months in) starting to believe that I'm not going to accidentally damage them. Well, all right, they have resisted my well-meaning but still rather intentional attempts to use them other than the manufacturers intended. The fact that you can adjust the tension on these is one of the reasons I finally purchased them, and it's made such a world of difference! If things ever feel even a tiny bit loose or tight, it's a really easy adjustment. As I lose all precision cutting edge and power if that pivot point loosens on another pair of scissors, they're generally only good for paper cutting after that. It's been a frustrating waste. And poor scissors has been no excuse to skimp on making well-fitting plush dog pajamas, 1/4" seam allowances or no!These blades are nice and sharp right out of the package, and I've sharpened mine three or four times now with no problems at all. The tips are not significantly more sharp than the rest of the blades, so if you're doing detail-work you may want to put a sharper edge on them yourself. Because they're forged, I feel much safer sharpening the backsides of the cutting surfaces to keep the edge true without degrading blade strength. While I try to keep different scissors for different major jobs or cutting medium (paper/cardboard, fabric cutting, detail work like snipping threads and trimming "hair/fur"), I find myself reaching for these for odd jobs that I before would have hesitated using such small scissors on. They've been lifesavers in stripping cables and cutting wires for repair jobs, used as impromptu screwdrivers, helped pry a couple of boards up that needed repairing, etc. Not a mark on them, and not the slightest bend, either.I expect to get a whole lot of use out of them for quite a long time more, and honestly if I eventually do need new tailor shears or other specialized scissors, I'll be looking hard at the cost of some forged Fiskars vs 4-6 pairs of another brand. Hopefully it can be said I learn from my mistakes!Hopefully we can keep putting joy and compassion into the world, one book (that is secretly an entire new world) and one stuffed toy (that is secretly a best friend) at a time.

Fiskars oui mais “Made in China” non-signalé : Décevant en tous points !
Ces ciseaux sont vendus sous la marque Fiskars mais sont en fait fabriqués en Chine. La qualité est à l'avenant : médiocre. La déception est aggravée par le sentiment d'avoir été abusé au sujet de l'origine du produit. These scissors are sold under the Fiskars brand, but are actually made in China. The quality of the product is in line with this. Deceptive and disappointing.

Brilliant embroider scissior
The fee of these scissors in my hand is lovely. Cutting with them is heavenly. Leaves all other embroidery scissors I have for dead.
