Love my AT pro, works as described, fun hobby. American made, small learning curve but you gotta love it.

Works great at the beach or in the fields. Very accurate! If you get a ping, there is definitely something in the ground! I sometimes doubt the hit but eventually find the buried metal. It is very sensitive so I like to use the low sensitivity setting or you will get hits from underground pipes buried far beneath the surface! Excellent product. The only negative thing is to NOT wear the headset if you have sunscreen on, like I do at the beach, as it will dissolve the vinyl on the headset! Other than that, great, durable, accurate product. I highly recommend it and would buy it again!

Waterproof detector, sensitive enough for my needs, and has good discrimination. I have had one for several years, and love it. I just got this one for a buddy who was interested in a waterproof machine that has discrimination AND versatile enough for land or water hunting.

I air-tested this detector against a White’s Spectrum V, Whites Spectrum XLT, and Fisher 1225X. The AT-PRO detects about 1” deeper than the other detectors. Well made and waterproof.

Had this about 2 1/2 years. Never seen water. As I live in Vt only used it 6 months max per year. Stored it indoors always. It stopped detecting to the tune of nearly $200 dollars to fix. They told me the circuit board was corroded. Really!?Not worth it. Garrett name is just a memory.
