Cool light! So when I go camping I usually order myself a pack of 100 glow sticks. You know, the bracelet ones with the connectors so you can make necklaces and connect whatever colors together? Yeah. So I’ll crack a bunch of those and hang them all over camp, on tree limbs, giant boulders, car side mirror, the dog. Why? Because it’s FUN. So I saw this light and was like Yeah this is right up my alley.It’s the width of a shoelace, the round ones (as opposed to flat). And for the haters, correct it is not something to read by - do you use a glow stick to read? No. You don’t. Thing is, glow sticks are actually quite bright in the pitch black of night. Ever try to sleep with 17 of them hanging on everything in the tent? Anyway, consider this along the lines of glow stick fun and you won’t be disappointed. They need more colors. Now I won’t be wasting plastic when the crack sticks die.

Nite Eze and Nebo( another brand) have become my favorite companies to get lights from. This Nite Eze product is price point, durable, and fun. The uses are endless. From wrapping around chairs to find at night events to a lighted non obtrusive light to make a pathe to cooler or firewood at camp.Why not 5 stars... actually I rate the product itself as a 5 star. I wish they had option of a battery/controller on each end. That way you can have double the battery life by using one controller, double the brightness when using both controllers, and have option of two colour choices.

I bought this light for tailgating and car camping and it does not disappoint. I'm thinking of getting more of these for a tent as well. They're easy to charge and lightweight and don't take up a lot of space and the built-in twist ties make them easy to install anywhere.

This is of limited usefulness as a light source. It is somewhat useful as a locator for a campsite (just look for the light string that should be 10’, but only appears to be 2-3’, and you’ll know it’s your site). There is almost no use whatsoever as an actual light source. If your eyes were heavily night-adjusted, you’d have a modicum of light to see your way around, but even then, it’s underwhelming. Great idea, terrible implementation. Mine is going back.As long as you purchase this as an expensive novelty item, and not a meaningful light source, you won’t be disappointed.

I really really wanted this to meet my expectations but alas…..great idea of a product just needs a little more refinement. Charged up easily and quickly I suppose, I just plugged in and forgot about it til the day before our camping trip. Once I busted it out I could see it’s usefulness immediately with a family/solo camping trip. I used it to illuminate our kids snacks/drinks table. I also used it inside the kids tent. The light is ok for camping as long as u don’t use it as a primary source. The maim issue is the brightness is is very strong at the base but fades significantly towards the end, becoming dim to the eye. As such I couldn’t give it the full five stars.

Never get hit by a car again! Or be the brightest one at the night ride. This light is bright especially after charge. The battery pack disconnects from the fiber optic line so you can charge the battery without having to unwind or take down the light. Just screw the battery pack on after charge and you’re good to go! Great product

Not worth the money, though it does have the potential to be cool. I was disappointed at how bright it is. The light isn’t consistently bright throughout the strand. Not great at all, more a marker light and not used to illuminate the night. Look elsewhere
