EvolurSignature Westbury Convertible Crib Wooden Full Size Bed Rail, Aged White

Super easy to convert the Evolur Fairbanks crib into a full-size bed. HOWEVER, the full size mattress would not fit into the base (the base was not wide enough). We bought a box spring and had to shove it hard to get it to fit into the converted bed base. The company needs to add an inch or two to meet normal full-size bedding. Overall, this conversion kit works with some finagling and turned out very pretty.

The product is very sturdy and color matched perfectly to the conversion crib we used this for. But the wooden slat that go across for the box spring are all too long had to cut an inch off each one for them to fit but other that that the hooks were vent and had to be replaced. So assembly is a bit challenging and the direction do not come in the box.

After reading reviews that this didn’t work with the Catalina crib I was nervous to buy but I’m so glad we did. This worked perfect with our Catalina crib and we didn’t have to cut any of the slates. It all fit perfect. Our 4 year old even jumped on it because he was so excited for a new bed and it stayed in one piece. So far so good! Very pleased with it!

The package arrived in excellent condition without any damage. However, I do have one complaint regarding the price; considering the cost, it would have been appreciated if they had included a more generous number of mattress support boards. I had to purchase additional boards to enhance the mattress support.

For my grandson, should get him through school. I bought the whole set... It grows with the child.

We got this for our kid's bed and had to wait a bit for the mattress we ordered to arrive, which is to say, I didn't install these until about a month or so after they arrived. When I finally went to assemble the whole thing, I ran into a problem similar to that which has been documented by others, which is, the metal brackets included did not allow the rails to click unto the heard board or footboard. the package came with 3 sets of metal hooks, however, none of them worked on my bed.Now, I will say, I texted the phone number provided in the instructions (the sleeve with where the hooks and screws were enclosed was emblazoned with a big, bright, red stop sign stating that if you had any problem with the parts to contact the number provided before returning them) and to their credit, they responded really quickly. They send me an additional 2 sets of metal hooks to try, which took about 4 days to arrive via mail. And behold, one of the sets worked. I installed the side rails extatically, only to once again find out what others had reported: the perpendicular wood boards were longer that the width of the bed. That was an easy fix for me, I just used a jigsaw to cut them to size, but I recognize that not everyone would feel comfortable doing this. Furthermore, that is not the expectation when buying one of these sets. Years ago, I bought a similar one set for my older kid's bed and it wasn't this troublesome. Granted, back then we bought the conversion set at the same time as the bed and they were bought at Babies r' Us which I feel had a better handle as to which sets went with which beds. Navigating through Amazon and trying to figure out which set to use with our current bed was in itself a nightmare.So, in conclusion, the customer service (after the fact) was quick and exceptional) but everything before (searching and determining which set to buy) and after (assembling and getting it to fit properly) was really difficult.

UPDATE: The seller contacted me regarding the rails and was extremely helpful in wanting to fix the problem. The rails wouldn’t work for me and it could be because of the design of the original crib, but I was very satisfied by the customer service I received from this seller. I’m changing my review to 5 stars based on how helpful this seller was!Original post:I am EXTREMELY upset about the conversion rails that I received. It says they fit the Catalina crib, however none of the metal parts fit in the pin holes to put the rails on. None of them will stay in! I even tried re-drilling a hole but that didn’t seem to work either. My little girl was so excited to get her new bed for her birthday and now I can’t get what was sent to me to work. I’ve been trying for hours! If you have the Catalina crib, these may not work for you.

So easy! Two side rails and three cross bars with screws to attach. Probably the easiest thing to assemble in the whole room. And very sturdy. Being able to adapt our baby crib to a full size bed was so helpful for our growing family. Plus, it looks so nice with the head/footboard. No one believes me when I tell them it used to be a crib. Highly recommend!
