Great quality and great price!
This is the first enclosed intake I've installed and it won't be the last. I was a little skeptical about how much more air it would take in, possibly being even smaller than the stock air box. But no problem and a lot more turbo sound.

Not really for the golf r
Put it in my 2015 golf r as far as I’m aware the r does not have a use for the 2nd intake filter?i believe the GTI does Other than that works great.makes a nice noise aswell

It for 1.4 TSI VW models.
Does not fit the 1.4tsi golf. Just a heads up.

So close but so far
Grommets are such a pain. They no longer seat properly. Taking this intake on and off is required for pretty much any other part on this car, reinstalling this intake is now the hardest part of any project on my GTI. I've also had issues with the adapter for the secondary air injection and today one of the riv nuts that hold the cover came loose and spins with the screw. I have a riv nut gut so I was able to crush the riv nut properly so it won't spin any more. Its not the worst intake but if I could go back I would spend the extra money on a different product.
