Solid machine for the price.
I just finished building the unit this weekend and had my first workout on it today. For the price and what it offers, I think I paid a fair amount.Comments on building it:-There was some difficulty with the left pedal hinge bolt. It really took some patience and realizing the pedal connection joint can tilt, which helps get the screw to the correct angle of entry.-At one point I struggled trying to get one of the U brackets loose in the cushion tube. At first it looked like one of them wasn't included, but then I realized it was stuck deep inside the bend of the cushion tube. It took a hammer to get it loose, but at least I got it.-Pretty much if you can put together Ikea, you can put together this bike. But it took me about 3.5-4 hours. It’s not difficult so much as involved. Lots of small parts, and several tools are included to help but elbow grease is still required! And, of course, there are the problem parts.-Do not throw the tools from the assembly if you used them at all. They will help with tightening and fixing. You can test with your hands which parts are wobbly, or you will notice during your first workout.Comments on using it:-I’ve done one workout so far (~40 minutes), switching between elliptical, recumbent bike, and upright bike. The machine held up besides finding some wobbly parts to tighten.-Recumbent bike is the least comfortable for me, because the seat cushion is too far back for me to pedal comfortably. As long as I sit up away from the seat back (upright position) I am fine.-Elliptical works fine. The machine itself will wobble because your weight is shifting, but it doesn’t feel unstable.-I am using the mat that Amazon pairs with this machine and it is the right size and a solid cushion/thickness for this machine. All in all, this is a solid machine for the price. At first, I worried about the amount of space the machine would take up, but it’s the right fit for my limited space. I like that the machine is relatively quiet, too. I did enjoy being able to do both elliptical and biking during my workout, but I docked the one star because recumbent biking isn’t an option unless I figure out how to put a stable cushion behind my back.

Sturdiness of eliptical is not optimal
Good resistance...I have only used my machine for about 2 weeks. It is sturdier than I expected. The instructions were simple and all parts and tools were in the packaging. I did not need a hammer. The resistance is challenging, so that is a plus. When I sit on the machine the bike part does not squeak. When I use the elliptical parts when seated, it does not squeak; however at the second 30 minutes of usage, when standing, it started squeaking, which I think is do to the fact that I could only get the parts so tight. I suspect the parts keep loosening with each usage. I cannot tightened the connection parts of the arms and lower portions anymore. The moving arm parts and lower moving parts need some revisions for optimal sturdiness/ I am saying that the parts that make it an elliptical need a little more work to make it sturdier. I wonder if it is going to fall apart before I meet my weight loss goal this year.

you get what you pay for
It took a little bit to build, the instructions include the parts that are already assembled and skips steps. It isn't level, so it rocks back and forth when in using it. But you get a good workout and for the price, it's okay. So if you're looking for something to get started with, then okay. If you're looking for something to replace a gym membership, no.

Beware!
I have owned this bike/elliptical for 2 months now and it's horrible!Pros:-Decent price-Easy assemblyCons:-Rickety (bolts loosen up while in use!) Stopping every few minutes to tighten bolts is not a good way to get a workout.-Bolt heads strip very easily! especially since you are constantly tightening them.-Bolt covers come off very easily-Bulky-Not easy to move around if trying to put it away or change rooms-Can't returnSolutions:- Don't buy it or-Weld the pieces togetherI really wanted to like this product. It had everything my husband and I were looking for. Unfortunately because of the fact that the bolts are stripping and it's literally falling apart in front of us it is unusable. I am so disappointed and we can't even return the product. We weren't given the option during our 30 day or 60 day. We are stuck with it. I'm going to figure out how to weld the stupid thing.

Not as stable as I would have liked. Also the gears for the resistance started slipping after 3 months of 3 Times a week usage. I would be petaling and it feels like it would slip from 8 to 1 and then back to 8 every third petal.Update: After having the machine for a year I would not recommend buying it. The gear slipping was due to the belt breaking. I was issued a new belt because it was still under warranty, however no instructions were given on how to replace the belt. A few months later the gear wheel has broken. A new one was issued because I was still under the 1 year warranty. Again no instructions and you need your own set of tools for the repairs. In 1year I’ve had to major issues. This machine is not built to last or built to be an everyday piece of workout equipment.

The seat can only be moved forward to a certain point. I'm 5'2 and have to put a firm pillow behind me to reach the pedals.

Easy to assemble
Easy to assemble. Arrived quickly. However, for some reason the one leg squeaks. I've been by other commenters to put oil on it, but, once assembled, that's a royal pain.
