When I received the mat, I was shocked that the Amazon box came opened. Like someone literally cut the Amazon blue tape off the box. This has nothing to do with the product whatsoever, but I have to state this fact because when I inspected the mat there was a white powdery substance all over all of the mats. So I’m not sure if the mat would have arrived like this if the box was never intentionally opened or if someone opened the box and took the mats out and got powder on it. Writing this now I feel like I should have requested a replacement, but I was so excited and wanted my baby to enjoy her playpen on our hardwood floor.I cleaned the mats thoroughly, by sanitizing and then using plain old soap and water. At first our baby did not like the black and white pattern AT ALL, but eventually she is got used to it. Our baby is 6 months old now. It worked fine for when she was crawling, but now that she is pulling herself up to stand and trying to walk she will fall and hit her head on the mat and cry. When she falls and hits her head on the nat and it is LOUD and I’m assuming it hurts! Her dad is furious about this and now I have to purchase a thicker gymnastic mat to put under it.So all this to say it looks cute and it is functional for a short time, depending on the type of floor you’re using it on.UPDATE:I purchased 2 gym mats to put underneath this mat and when my daughter falls and hits her head on the mat it is no longer loud and she giggles :) She can fall and I no longer worry about her hurting herself when falling. Cute mat, but clearly it’s not fall proof for a learning to stand/walking baby on a hard wood floor.

This may is great. We ordered 3 sets to cover our living room area where the baby plays in the floor. We did have 1 piece that ended up being defective. The pattern film is coming up off the mat. This is only on 1 square. Unfortunately I missed the return or replace window by 4 days. 😭 Otherwise I would recommend this mat!

I bought a total of 3 to cover my baby’s nursery and i love how they look and feel. Easy to clean. (You can only combine one set and can’t interlock several like I bought due to no interlocking trim) we just butt them up next to each other but can’t complain and they do the trick and can be moved around if we decide to put them in other rooms as needed.

We love our area rug play mat, the only down fall is sometimes you can see where the seem is on the mat.

Beautiful print and soft for falls. I removed the two center squares so it fit in playpen and the print still lines up nicely! Once we outgrow the pen, we will put all 6 pieces together as a rug in baby room.Seems durable after 4 months of daily use with baby and mama in pen with 40 toys. Baby has even discovered a corner to chew on and no sign of peeling/damage to mat.Great buy!!
