It does the job and is reasonably priced
We need this to open a Pella patio sliding door inner pane for cleaning. The Pella technician highly recommended that we get a unit like this. It works very well allowing us to put a little pressure on the window while we unclip the retaining locks that allow the window to swing out from the frame for cleaning.

An Ace In The Hole
I have a casement window type window that requires a crank to open and close. The other day, I noticed that the window doesn't close shut no matter how much I try to crank the window's handle. After examining closer, it looks like the window is in need a replacement part to work. When I'll get to replacing a part (the other window still works) is anybody's guess. But I do need the window shut in case of a storm or to turn on the AC in summer or shut for winter.I live in an upper floor well above ground level. I can't have someone outside push against the window to close. So, I looked on youtube where someone showed how to use to a suction cup to grab and suck into the window from the inside and pull shut, then lock the window. That's exactly what I did.The suction cups came two to an order. It is made of strong aluminum with a very strong suction. When using, it firmly sucks onto the glass window and doesn't feel like the suction would come off at all. One side of the handle folds up and down to create the suction. When first trying, the handle snapped back and bumped against my middle finger and made that sore, so don't be careless with them. This product is something I may just use once in a lifetime. But when called upon, it shines for getting the job done. Here is what I like and dislike of this suction cup:Likes:------- made of strong material (feels quality made)- great suction power- gets job done with ease- comes in a set of 2Dislikes:---------- a bit over priced- need to be careful opening and closing handleI give the FCHO Glass Suction Cup Heavy Duty Aluminum Vacuum Plate Puller 5 stars.

Perfect temporary handle for sliding glass door
I have an ancient sliding patio door that will get replaced as soon as weather and money allows. In the meantime, the outside handle broke off the door and the inside handle is 1/2 broken. I have had to leave the door slightly ajar when I went outside because there was no way to get a grip on the door to open it without the handle. Now the inside handle is about to go, I can't leave the door open (inviting mosquitoes in and A/C out) when I'm inside. With the inside handle about to give and no available replacement handle for that 35 year old door, I got creative. Just in case anyone else ever finds her/him needing to move a glass door or window lacking a handle, I'm posting. THIS WORKS PERFECTLY. Having two separate devices in one package was the obvious solution for me - I have a working handle on each side of the door. Holding fast for days without reapplying and the suction device provides a much easier grip than the original handles. Wish I had done this a long time ago. I love this product!
