I am particular about soap and am willing to pay more, but there are limits.For example:A Pre de Provence 8.8oz soap for $6-7 is a very good price (and I only buy it when it is in this price range).A Pre de Provence 5.3oz soap for $6-7 is ... disappointing. (There are other soaps I would buy instead).Most likely my disappointment is because I was thinking that I was going to be receiving the larger one.The soap itself is mostly excellent, though some of the fragrances are a bit too much....but pay attention to the SIZE of the bar, unless you enjoy tossing money around.

The scent is a pleasant floral and it's a nice pink color. I ordered Lily of the Valley scent, but it didn't smell quite like that, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. Otherwise it is nice to soap up with it and doesn't seem drying. I liked it enough to order the little sample package to experience other scents.

This starflower soap smells the very best of any soap I have used. I musty find some starflowers for my garden! It is the best soap also, makes the whole bathroom smell good.

I can't say this soap is good enough to justify the price, but it's so good that I've already tried several scents! It's more of an occasional indulgence than an every day purchase.

I bought two of these, different scents, for my mom and she really likes them. The olive one was a bit larger than expected which is a nice surprise. They both smell really nice and are very gentle so I do recommend them!

Delivery was so quick. after reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to order but I went head and I’m glad I did the quality of the bar is great. The size is perfect. It smells amazing. It doesn’t leave a residue on your skin. And it is winter time and I do have sensitive skin and it did not drive me out. My boyfriend loves the way my skin smells after bathing with it.

This soap smells fresh and light and it feels really nice on dry, Winter skin.

This soap smells pretty good. Was hoping for a bit stronger tree smell. It lathers well and lasts longer than many soaps. Good around the hoildays.

I love linden scented soaps and this soap has a beautiful strong linden scent with a good bit of bubble, lasts a long time too.

Cannot give this five stars and here's why. I do not like the smell, plus the soap is a HUGE block which makes it very awkward and hard to keep in your hands, the bar should be round and long not a huge block!. I also do not care for the small sand pieces they scratch my skin, and why they are even are added is beyond me..feels like I am using sand paper on my skin!!!... Pros: lathers ok and does not dry out my hands. Seems good for eczema-prone hands, no flare up's as yet. I'm not sure if I would purchase from this company again. There are many others to try here on Amazon before I would consider going back to this one. One thing for sure is I would never purchase this scent again. A solid ** stars for this soap.

Pre de Provence "Starflower Scent".This is by far my favorite scented soap. It is a bit expensive but it's a huge bar of soap. I will be forever buying this soap from now on... hopefully it never discontinues.The smell is incredible. If I was outside and come in the house, I will smell it from the entry. It could be used in drawers to give a scent to your clothes... but I use it in the shower. I already bought a second bar so that I don't run out.I recommend this particular soap 100%.

This so-called "luxury" soap is anything but! Has NONE of the features advertised on site. It has no scent whatsoever, leaves an unbelievable mess in the soap dish with each use, and, most importantly, it is an exfoliant soap, but this is not indicated anywhere in the description!!! As a result, it is most unpleasant to use on hands because it contains many, many little scratchy bits, irritants that scrape skin with every washing. Not one redeeming feature that I could mention and is inferior to any $1 soap I have ever purchased.

Very nice soap, i could not verify if there was no palm oil in it as its destroying the habitat of the Orang Outang.............so No Palm Oil.......or derivatives..........i will try to know, nice lather etcI find this soap leave my skin soft and very clean, i can still find my face and hands soft and clean 3 hours after using the Pre de Provence soap. I Love the soap it is expensive but worth it. I am extremely happy with my soap and i will buy it again, i really dont understand why some people say its abrasive and no smell and leave their skin dry. For me as a pure soap its Magic.
