I work in a covid unit. While we have disposable ppe, I wanted a hat to wear under that so I would be covered even in "clean" areas. Also, I am minimal and lazy with appearance on work days. I don't think I'm quite hobo level, but I don't wear makeup and just generally set out to be clean and have brushed hair thrown into a ponytail. This is great for covering those haphazard "let's just slap this up there with an actual rubber band from pharmacy and never look in a mirror until the ride home" hair days (every. darn.day.). The buttons are awesome for holding masks. The slouchy style is flattering. I tie it up around my whole head instead of accentuating my bun. Missing a star because I had to reinforce a loose button after 2 shifts and because it smelled like I don't even know what when it first came. I hand wash and hang dry so while I'm betting it may shrink if not, mine hasn't (5+ washes now). At this price, you can probably afford more than one at any rate. Recommend!

It gets very loose throughout the day

I have to wear a fabric headband under it so it doesnt slip/get pulled by my mask. But it's comfortable and contains my hair. Hasn't faded or lost elasticity.

These are my favorite surgical caps! I have pretty long and thick hair and have always struggled to find a cap that will comfortably cover it all. These are stretchy and accommodate hair in a low or high bun. I also like the buttons on the side so I can put my surgical mask on the buttons and give my ears a rest.

Love this little knit hat! The only thing I "marked it down for" is the band is really roomy around my head and I have to use the ties to tie it around my head instead of around my bun.

Great for high buns when you're tired of wearing low buns. Wearing low ponytails everyday is not good for your hair and can cause breakage, so the cap is nice for high ponies. Its pretty thick so nothing gets in. It's really comfortable for long periods of time and the buttons did wonders for relieving ear pains due to masks.

Very comfortable! It stayed on well throughout the shift. I didn’t use the mask buttons, but wore my mask on my ears and covered the tops of my ears with the hat. Bonus: hat hair was minimal!
