TYR Adult Long Hair Wrinkle-Free Silicone Swim Cap

Good fit! My daughter has big head circonferance and long hair. It fits her well.. plus kept her hair dry

I have treated hair, and i love swimming (great combination, I know) so I was looking for a cap that would help me protect my keratin treatment for a little longer. This has worked quite well

The TYR swim cap did not fit my moderate length hair, and it came off easily and frequently in the water. This may be because of the fit rather than an issue of quality.

I’m of a mixed heritage, I’m half black and half Caucasian, and both my parents have very thick hair so my hair is exceptionally thick and long, it reaches my waist.Regular swimming caps just pop off my head since they don’t fit. This one JUST managed to fit my thick bun at the back, and the hold is good. It does ride upwards a little when swimming but it doesn’t randomly pop off whilst you’re swimming. It’s easy to put on, and the black colour looks really stylish.I wouldn’t recommend this cap for ladies who have quite long and thick hair extensions/ braids, as your bun will be way too big for this cap and it wouldn’t fit.

Feel bad giving this cap any less than 3 stars as it does fit nicely and is comfortable. However, I bought it to keep my hair dry as I swim every day and it doesn't keep your hair dry at all. I had my hair in French plaits and they were absolutely soaking after a 30 min swim.So if you're looking for a comfy cap that creates less drag, this is your guy. If you want something to keep your hair dry, this is not your guy.

When I first received this I thought there was no way this is going to fit my head. I even tried it on and it really was a struggle to get all my hair in there. However I still decided to try it when swimming anyways. The trick is to make sure your hair is wet before you put the cap on. When I did this the cap went on very easily and I was able to slide my hair under without any issue. I have long thick hair and it all fit in the cap. I think the mistake people make is that they think that a bathing cap is to keep your hair dry. It is not. It is usually to keep your hair protected from the harsh chemicals in the pool. And for this reason this cap works perfectly for me. Btw, by wetting your hair first before you swim, not only does it let you put the cap on it easier but it also forms another protective layer for your hair so it will not be damaged by harsh chemicals

This swim cap is absolutely terrific. I very seldom spend the time to write a product review however this cap is brilliant. I am a swimming coach, & swim a huge amount myself. Latest dip with my new cap & I noticed that some of my hair was still dry. (Not why I bought it but big plus). Mainly it doesn't squeeze my ears really tight, super easy to get on & don't feel like my head is going to pop after wearing it for 30 minutes. Should have got one of these years ago. So much pain could have been avoided!! Better late than never I guess.

Does keep my long,very thick hair drier than most other caps. It supports a ponytail or bun under the cap unlike most other which I prefer to stuffing the hair in around the edges as the edges always get wet as the caps inevitably spring up a little when wearing (it might be because of my thick, bouncy hair!!) no matter how good your swimming hat. Works for me, very happy.
