Effective but be careful when using!
Highly effective for catching rodents! The large size and strong adhesive make it easy to trap even bigger pests, and the traps are simple to set up and dispose of. BUT, BE CAREFUL when placing them, the adhesive is very sticky. Don't ask how I found out.......

Definitely works
Put out poison for the rats, that didn’t work. Put 2 of the jumbo traps out around area where I saw them. Got one after the first night of placing the traps down. Traps are very sticky, planning on buying more of these to solve my issue.

Gonna catch em all
These work amazing! The hard part with it being big it May only catch one at first, but if you leave it, more will come. This is the only thing that has been able to catch and hold the large rats that decided to show up. Ew!!!

Caught The Rat - Suggestions for Use
The traps are shipped face-2-face with no "cover" over the adhesive portion. They have raised plastic rims and center to prevent sticking to each other. Some adhesive mats like this have a peel-off paper so that you can put them down a few days so the mice/rats get used to just walking right over them - remember a rat's sense of smell is 100x ours and they are suspicious of new things.Well, our rats were suspicious and tended to just hop right over them. Actually saw them do it on a few occasions. Finally, we had enough and bought enough of these mats that we could blanket the entire area 2-3 deep around access points they were using. We finally caught one last night. Note, when you find the rodent caught in the adhesive, they will be alive, so you need to deal with that somehow. A BB gun right between the eyes/ears is humane and mercifully quick. Some people just toss them in the trash to starve trapped like that... I think most folks would have a hard time with that, let's be humane about this folks.Over the same period of time we did also catch one rat in a conventional large mousetrap. The rats were smart enough to avoid those too, so I had to put a couple around the corners of blind "alleys" where their path bottlenecks and they just about have to go right over the trap... eventually they will put a foot wrong and then it's light's out. This product did work for us, in that it caught a rat... but I do think the price is a bit steep for what you get. I misunderstood how many were in a package and what's included works out to about $8 per square foot of coverage. That's a bit high for something that's supposed to be considered "disposable". Oh, and while deploying the adhesive panels I had something fall off a shelf onto it... could not get it unstuck, had to discard the whole panel. So, take care in deploying these, the rat you catch may be yourself!
