Ordered this to make home-made hair treatments.I have problem hair - fine and thinning after illness. If it wasn't for lockdown I would have had it cropped short. However since I have stopped using ordinary shampoo/conditioner (I have swapped to solid shampoo bar - Funky Soap Palm oil free) and added a biotin supplement my hair has improved so much that I'm optimistic that I may get it back to a shoulder length bob. Lockdown may just have saved my hair!Amla powder can be mixed with other ingredients to make a hair treatment. It is well known in Indian culture as a hair saviour!So for the first time in a decade I may get my hair back. Heres hoping. Adding Amla certainly won't do any harm and may just help.Happy with the quality and price.

The powder comes with a glove and a plastic hair covering. As I ran out of alma this came at a good time. Its what I expected from the powder. I use it for my hair mask along side others. It does not smell the best.

This amla powder is good quality and comes in a nice box to store. Amla powder is a traditional South East Asian remedy for a multitude of hair, skin and digestive uses.I add it to my shampoo for super shiny hair. It is much cheaper than buying the Bio Amla brand shampoo. A little bit of powder is very potent so the 250g box will last a long time and is good value.

As well as being great for the hair and nails, Spierb Amla Powder is also really good for the digestive system (it is high in fibre) and immune system, it is super rich in vitamin C and rich in antioxidants. It might be healthy but there is something in the test that puts me off. Might be personal preference hence not giving very low score

Unfortunately for me it’s a no ... I just had a sip of this... not very pleasant...can’t diss it, I just don’t like it...But will try it out on my hair, comes with gloves and shower cap!
