GREAT CARB, APOLLO RFZ RIDERS READ THIS:
Great Carb, but here are some tips for Apollo 125 riders...Nibbi makes great carbs, but their known for being difficult to tune. But, one of the best things about this carb is that Nibbi decided to place the air/fuel/tuning screw on the SIDE of the carb instead of the bottom. This (IMO) makes the nib 26mm carb a better carburetor then any Mikuni or Mikuni Knockoff. In hindsight, this is actually legitimately the easiest carb out there to tune... simply start up the bike and mess with the idle knob (Big red one) until it sounds relatively decent, then kill the bike and turn the tuning screw (Small brass flathead to the left of the idle knob) all the way in (To where you cannot turn it anymore clockwise without stripping the screw), before turning it 1.5-2 turns out. Depending on your sea level, it varies.NOW FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT THING:If you install the carb and when you start it it revs to the moon (No throttle, can't change it with idle) you probably forgot a small black washer looking thing that goes between the throttle "cap" and the throttle spring. If you forget this, the throttle slide will not be able to sit all the way down and will only come down about 1/2 of the way. Also, apollo 125 rfz riders, the Nibbi 42mm air filter is too small, and while the 48mm air filter fits, the angled aspect of it makes it either (1) rub against the exhaust, or (2) not clear the frame and simply won't fit. Hope this helps!NIBBI CARB ADAPTER: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09YRD1WCC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsAIR FILTER THAT WORKS FOR ALL BIKES INCLUDING APOLLOS: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07471CDXN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsIf the carb keeps coming off, shave down the bolts on the adapter (Link above) to give the rubber tube more room to slide on.

decent carb, but you'll need to buy more jets
After more hours than I care to admit, I finally got this carb working on my bikeAfter some more experimentation and reading the spark plug colors based on some internet resources, I now have a winning combination. Stats:Operating at sea-leveljet compatibility: Keihinmain jet: #115pilot jet: #35engine: Lifan 125My son and I are both using the same Lifan 125cc motor, and both are pulling very nicely with this carb. I wish I could say I have some before and after acceleration values for you, but I don't. It does run very well now. I topped out at 54 mph on a flat where previously I seemed to top out around 51. Maybe not worth the ~$100 to get 3mph, but it does seem to be smoother than the stock carb that came with my motor. You'll need to buy jets separately as the Nibbi only comes with a limited selection, all of which were too big for my operating conditions. If in the process of tuning your carb you experience the engine cutting out, that's almost certainly an indicator that you're running too rich. The little instruction pamphlet that comes with the carb doesn't describe the symptom very well, and this actually led me to think I was running too lean when in fact the opposite was true. So the kicker is that if you have a motor similar to a Lifan 125, the jets included with the carb are all too big! You'll need to buy a set of jets that come in a range of sizes and are Keihin compatible. The instruction pamphlet also indicates that the pilot jet is a factor only up to 1/4 throttle. This didn't seem to be entirely true. When the engine is running at higher speed and you back off the throttle, the engine will run very ragged or try to cut out on you. Stepping the pilot jet down to a lower size (#35 in my case) made a big difference.

GREAT CARB, BUT DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE TUNED.
I bought the Nibbi PE 26mm carb to replace the Mikuni knock off carb that I had on my 2021 SSR 125. (Both the stock carb and the Mikuni knock off ran like crap despite spending several days trying to get them tuned properly.) First off, you have to get the Nibbi adapter to make everything fit like it's supposed to. After everything was fitted, I started the bike and it ran good for one block, then started to bog and sputter.Come to find out, the Nibbi adapter that I received was brittle and the rubber easily tore and formed a hole under the clamp after tightening and loosening the clamp several times trying to get the jetting right. The good thing was that I noticed it in time and was able to return it to Amazon and get my money back to put towards a new one.Well, after getting the new Nibbi adapter and installing the carb, the bike started up on the 2nd kick and ran pretty good. I eventually ended up changing the stock jetting to a 105 main jet and a 42 pilot jet. My needle position is on the 3rd slot with my air screw 1 1/2 turns out. I'm located about 87' above sea level and this thing rips!!! I'd recommend this carb, just understand that it might take a bit to get it tuned properly. Once tuned, it really makes the bike come alive!

Well....
So I was at first a little skeptical about buying this because you’re never 100% sure if you can trust what reviews say, or product description accuracy and such things, but I decided to go for it and just trust what I read, so I went ahead and ordered this. Prior to this my bike was having some issues with the original carb, it was slow, throttle response was sluggish, and it would bog down if I went past 1/4 throttle like 80% of the time.So when I bought the carb I had high hopes based on what I saw and previous purchasers have said about it, I looked at it in the box and just admired it trying to keep the hopes from getting higher than they were, today (8-10-19) I said to myself “alright let’s do this” and decided to actually install the carburetor, after about 15min taking the old one off, installing the adapter, aligning it to fit properly in its place, tightening everything down, testing the throttle and making sure I got everything buttoned down, I opened the fuel valve...kicked it over, nothing....thought to myself “no worries, it’s just gotta get some fuel running through the system” tried again, nothing, but...the 3rd time...my bike came to life. Like a different bike all in all.The idle was set perfect right out of the box, I didn’t have to change or swap the jets, although I do have the option to if I deem necessary in the future, so I pull the clutch in and put the bike in gear, being a little cautious, slowly let the clutch out and started to accelerate away after some slow riding for about 10min I thought “well, let’s see what this thing can do” and cracked it wide open. I swear the bike was trying to buck me off, it was fast, it was peppy, and most importantly...it was fun.The fit was great, the functionality was great, the installation was a breeze.I couldn’t be happier with the decision I made to trust the reviews and just go for it with this. It woke my bike up in a way that I didn’t think it had existed.I put this in a 2013 SSR SR125. And will do it for my other toys too!
