Worked well for me but not perfect
I have a 10,000 gallon kidney shaped pool. Shallow side is 3.5 feet deep. Deep side is 6 feet deep. The bottom isn't flat and it curves up on the sides from bottom to top.I'm experienced with maintaining a pool. I have a System 3 diatomaceous earth filter that has 53 sq ft of filter space. Run the pump 12 hours a day at 2200rpm to achieve balance between energy usage and turning the pool over (happens about every 3 hours according to the math).I loath hauling out my pole, sweeper, filter canister, and connecting all of this to the pump via the skimmer to vacuum the floor and sides of my pool. Take too long, too many nuances. Been doing it this way for decades. I figured technology could make it easier for me. Aside - I don't use an auto vacuum since I have dogs that swim all the time. Don't want them to catch a hose and drown. The main things that litter my floor are dog hair, sand / crushed granite from nearby paths, material from the roof of my house, leaves from many trees, and DE powder from when I spray the filters after vacuuming (backs out thru the line).I grew up swimming in creeks so having a perfectly clean pool isn't my goal. I just know I need to clean it from time to time in order to keep algae from forming. In general, I keep my DE filter clean by back washing once a month, I vacuum the floor about once a month, and I skim weekly.I finally decided to try one of the automated, cordless vacuums. These are the ones I tried.POOL BLASTER Max CG, $299https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002L61OGAPaxcess Cordless Robotic Cleaner, $318.09https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088JWRWGMAIPER Cordless Automatic Pool Cleaner, $876.81https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KY211BPWinner was the Pool Blaster.Paxess- Filter screen is about 180µm which wasn't able to catch all the DE (DE is generally less than 100µm in size). The unit blew much of the DE back into the water. It did filter some.- Wasn't strong enough to climb up from my deep end so it remained in the deep end.- I felt the Paxess performed better than the Aiper in my pool. Might not for yours.- Charging was easy. Battery worked fine. Lasted about an hour.Aiper- Filter screen was much too big. Couldn't catch DE nor sand. Manufacturer didn't disclose size of filter. Blew debris right back into pool.- Unit claims to climb up walls. Mine didn't. It would attempt to climb it, back flip, then try again...over and over as it worked around the pool. Very odd behavior.- Charging was easy. Battery worked fine. Lasted about an hour.Pool Blaster Max CG- I really like this tool. It's different than the robots. It's a self contained, battery operated, cordless device. But, you attach it to the end of your pole.- I'm used to using a pole to work on my pool and I like the exercise of using my legs, arms, and core.- So, this tool really spoke to me.- Comes with 2 filters: one for general debris and one for super fine stuff like DE. The DE one is excellent! It captured all of my DE. However, I had to empty it after every length of the pool (short length of about 6 feet). I had to empty it about 30 times in order to clean all the DE off the entire bottom of my pool. This sucked (<-- pun)- So, I modified my approach. I turned up my pool motor to max RPM and scrubbed the pool to get the DE in solution. Then the next day I vacuumed with the general filter. This seemed to greatly help but it wasn't perfect.- So, I reset my expectations and my process. The next time I sprayed the filters in my DE bubble, I emptied the bubble into my sewer line of my house (very easy and fast for me to do). I don't run backwash / pool water waste to my yard because the chlorinated water damages my trees and vegetation. Then, I capped my line that goes back to my pool. Spray quickly. Then reassemble and I'm done.- Now, when I use the Pool Blaster, I can use the general filter basket and I can vacuum the whole pool in 30 min. Doing it the old way with the hose, vacuum head, canister, etc used to take 2 hours because of how many times I had to stop and tend to the nuances. I also had to backwash / clean the filters in the DE bubble to avoid algae building up in the bubble- Emptying the filter of the pool blaster is super fast. Take me less than 2 min. I shake it out into a bucket, then I rub it while dunking it into the skimmer. Then back to work.Suggestion to Pool BlasterIf they had a filter that was in between the size of the fine one and the general one, it'd be even better.Overall, I'm happy with the Pool Blaster.I'm happy that the time to done is 30 min vs 2 hours. And, I don't have to clean my DE filter after vacuuming the pool to avoid algae building up in the DE canister. The Pool Blaster is a completely separate tool which means my DE filter remains untouched and hence I don't have to clean it every time. We live in a hot, humid environment so fighting algae is always a thing. Giving 5 stars since my use case might be odd.

Must have for any pool owners
If you do not own one of there you spending to much time cleaning your pool with the hose and filter. I was skeptical but i am totally sold now and its the only tool I use to clean the pool. This vacuum gets more out of the pool that my robot and/or the old fashioned hose connected to the pumps. I easily get an hour charge on normal usage. The bag filters are simply amazing to use, clean and they get everything.

Very good cleaner compared to others, huge storage to pick up and last over an hour to clean.
I have used this for a week in my 12 x 24 intex pool. Real dirty pool. It does very well picking up arizona desert dirt and it goes along time over an hour easily. The only issue I have is the dang plug. So annoying. You have to plug it in first so you know whether it's charged after you squeeze the sides real hard and wait for it to fit in. IT's a stuggle and a nuisance just for a plug. But oh well, as long as it cleans my dirty pool I will deal. Oh and it does NOT come with a pole which I knew. So does fit in my other ones but that is tight too.

Already had to have a 3 replacements sent
The first unit, a Poolbuster MaxCG, exploded while under the water in the pool less than a year after being purchased, a little over one 3-4 month pool season. A replacement was sent. After going through 3 charge cycles I emailed Water Tech that it was not running for more than 15 minutes after being fullycharged. They said they would replace it with another unit but would give me a free upgrade to the Poolbuster Max CG. I informed you, that was what I purchased to begin with, I sent pictures That I had taken before it was disposed of. You said you would then upgrade it to the Pro 900. I used it for several cleanings and then noticed that after cleaning the pool on one occasion the unit would not turn off even when the switch was in the off position. I emailed them back and they suggested that they could upgrade me to the Pro 1500 or a remote unit(Speed Jet) . I said I was not willing to go with the Speed Jet due to it only have the one motor for movement as well as suction. I chose the Pro 1500( it has a different head on it). I did ask about another unit which you said was only forin-ground pools, however your web site does not say that. It does however still say that the Hercules 6000 has Warranty: 3 year / 400cycles and right below it it says One (1) Year Warranty. I mentioned this to you and you said you would address this, but as of this email it is still there. I also mentioned that there were air bubbles coming from the compartment lid that covers the battery on both the 900 as well as the 1500. This is clearly indicative of water leaking into the unit. At this point I might add that after this incident I then reviewed the 900 and 1500 on amazon and found 5 with the exact same complaints out of nineteen reviews that stated the exact same thing that I was seeing, water getting into the battery compartment. Aside from those, many complained of the battery compartment lid malfunctioning or breaking. On another site 4 out of 5 gave it a one star. Clearly there are issues with these units(900,1500) But if you want to pawn that off as "me being dissatisfied or hard to please" then go right ahead. This will continue to be a problem for Water Tech long after I have become corporate fodder, unless there is some sort of design change. Not once did I request for you to send me a "higher end product" that was entirely your idea. I will be satisfied when I am through with this debacle. In the email below She say's "for one reason or another did not meet your expectations" it was not my expectations it was that they were defective-period.I anxiously await the box to send back the Pro 900 and the labels to send it back along with the Pro 1500. By the way as you can see they want me to sent the units back, one in the box it came in and one in just any box I have. Below are the last 2 emails I received from Water Tech. Good Afternoon Mr. Beacham,Next to last email: We here at Water Tech pride ourselves in customer satisfaction. Saying that I feel that the only way to "satisfy you" and have you choose whatever item you may want as a pool cleaner we will refund your purchase price of the original unit. We have tried to send "higher end" products and for one reason or another did not meet your expectations. Please provide either a receipt, copy of Credit card statement or whatever you have and we will send you a full refund. Also we will send immediately a call tag to ship back our units. We hope that you find a cleaner that can satisfy you and we only want you to be happy with what you choose.Last email: I apologize for the delay, I have been out of the office. Please package the Pro in any box you have and I will issue a call tag for the units to be picked up. I already spoke to my accounting department and he has already issued the check and should be getting to you soon.Best Regards,
