I mean the review has asked me to rate the accuracy. I’m not sure how I’d figure that out without buying another set of scales! I would be delighted if the accuracy was off however I have eaten my fair share of snacks during the great covid lockdown of 2020... so I would assume they are correct in their shocking revelation. They are easy to read however if they are not then it’s really the fault of the user who’s stomach is in the way. The only thing I can actually say accurately is the carpet feet are annoying and very flimsy. You really have to stick with one or the other. The feet are quite delicate. They do the job.... they tell you how much you weigh! Amazon sell alcohol too which maybe you could buy to arrive at the same time!

After almost 2 years, the battery finally gave out, so I replaced it with a new one, which registered as working with the first use - but then displayed 'LO' before shutting off. I tried with a further 2 batteries and had exactly the same problem. It would initially register the weight before displaying 'LO' again and turning off. I contacted Salter and they told me to reset it (which I did) but it didn't fix the issue. So they asked me to send a copy of the invoice and a photo of the scales and now they're sending a new one. Good customer service but I wasn't expecting it to break down so quickly. Luckily the scales have a 15-year guarantee! Hopefully the new one will last longer. Very simple to use and you can easily change the unit of weight on the back of the scales.

Soooo much better than my old ones!!!!No more:-waiting for scale to set itself up,-waiting for BMI,-adjusting scale each year with my ageAll the stuff that comes with BMI/WEIGHT scales.With these, you select your choice of weight (stone, lbs, kilo etc). And that's it. No more pressing and waiting for the scale to calibrate, you just step on and the scale which activates it, it shows up your weight and that's it, done. I had forgotten how quick and easy a normal scale is as with my previous one I had to input all the information, age, height etc. and it took so long to get to the point that you can step on them to weigh yourself, that I had gotten frustrated so many times.....plus, I can put my Weechon dog on and not have to put some god forsaken information about her on just so I can weigh her. I just change it to KG and plonk her on....it's great.

I would not recommend this scales if you are looking for an accurate weight. I can literally stand on them and be one weight, and then repeat and be 3lbs lighter. If I then stand on them again it will go back to the original weight, and then the lighter weight again. Absolutely no consistency with this product, so if you are using as an accurate weight measurement tool this is not ideal. So from using them I still have no idea of my actual weight!

I have only used the scales a couple of times but since l tried replacing the battery the scales have never been able to turn on. I have tried getting in touch with the manufacturer and their advice to remove battery and clean with lint cloth has not worked, considering they give warranty for this l have not received my replacement scales.
