Overnight delivery and a price that's well below that being charged by our local Tesco means this 300ml bottle is great value for money, thanks to Amazon.I have a health condition requiring the daily intake of a particular drug which itself has to be counterbalanced by another drug to minimize over-stimulation of acidity by the first drug. It's a situation hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of those aged over 60 have to face in the UK. . . as are the consequences of the second, 'corrective' drug.I'd much rather not have to bother with the second drug because of those consequences, but I do need to control the excessive acidity caused by the first drug. Accordingly, there are several days at a time when I protect my tummy with Gaviscon rather than the prescribed medication. This situation has obtained, now, for well over a year, and it works just fine for me as a sane, intelligent adult (I wouldn't normally tinker with a prescribed medical rgime but sometimes you need to use a bit of commonsense in your own best interests).Gaviscon at supermarket prices or retail chemists' is expensive and highly profitable for the retailers, as are all non-generic antacid treatments; this product, from Amazon, is highly effective, both in day time and night time, and at a price which doesn't hold you to ransom. Highly recommended -- and kudos to Amazon, too!
