Tropical Sun Natural Plantain Chips Lightly Salted, 70g (Pack of 12)

I had to lock these away in a downstairs cabinet, so as to stop myself snacking on them at night. I love them!They are crispy and not too salty and the bags are a generous size. I bought a box of 12 and had to slow down the rate I ate them as it was all getting out of hand. Electric blanket, kindle, snacks. Living my best life :)

So delicious. I tried all the Plantain chips. These ones and one other brand are my favourite. These ones are very thin which makes them even tastier.

Got only 1 bag instead of 12.They were really good but... only one bag.

Absolute ripoff. I ordered a pack of 12 and received only 1 bag! The description states that this is a pack of 12, it's NOT.

Not to my liking

I got hubby onto these bc plantains (especially the unripe green ones) are very helpful for thickening the stomach lining, thereby helping protect against acid damage. During a truly horrific and life threatening battle with H Pylori, I used every kind of aid I could find to help hubby's stomach defeat that very formidable little bacteria. Now he continues to eat these chips as preventative maintenance and he prefers them to any other crisps. Note that these are made from GREEN plantains (which are typically salted, as they are not as sweet as the yellow ones). The packaging doesn't make this obvious, but they list it in the ingredients. After a quality control issue with my previous supplier, I was relieved to find these. I'd definitely recommend for those interested in the health benefits of plantains.

They are crisp, savoury and really tasty. They remind me of the ones my mum used to make so that’s pretty good. They’re not the cheapest but you do get what you pay for.
