Great for ponds and water features.
I have had these pumps going non-stop for over a year and a half. One is in a pond with fish and plants. The other in a barrel with just water. The one in the pond will occasionally require me to clean out the gunk in the bottom slits to restore water pressure. Quick and easy though. They have run for 2 winters now to keep the water flowing and preventing the tops from freezing completely. Great quality.

Nice pump
Works well. Lift was better than expected

Works pretty well
These aren't going to last forever so budget two. They work very well until they don't. The water flow is ideal for our use. They are compact which is great. Easy to install. If you need a pump, get two of these.

Surprisingly strong
A great little submersible pump for water features or circulation. It has plenty of adjustable power and is very easy to install.

Value for cost.
I have three of these pumps working in my pond now. For the price, there are excellent. Wish they lasted a little longer though. I can get about a year out of them.

Send it back it wasn't as powerful as I expected I had a fountain lift of 6 ft and it barely came out the top

A pump that works in a shallow birdbath!
After trying many submersible pumps in my birdbath this is the first I have encountered that fully submerges and thus doesn't always suck air.Today the nearby tree dumped a large number of fibrous lumps (don't know a proper name for them) on the yard, filling the birdbath and totally clogging the pump, bringing it to a stop. I had to first completely drain and refill the birdbath with fresh clean water. Then disassemble the pump and remove all the fibers that had been sucked in and jammed the works and plugged the inlet and outlet. The disassembly and reassembly of the pump was surprisingly simple and easy compared to other submersible pumps I have tried out. It is now working even slightly better than the day I first tried it.Note: unlike many other submersible pumps, this lacks an inlet filter to keep debris from being pulled in. However I find this not a major issue due to the small size allowing it to work in my shallow birdbath, and very simple disassembly and assembly facilitating cleaning. Will have to wait through summer and fall to evaluate performance in winter's freezing temperatures, so expect an update to this review early in 2024.

Doesn’t work for more than (2) minutes
The media could not be loaded. Bought this for my outdoor koi pond decided to test before I put it to use. Package arrived in good condition, no signs of damage externally came with all the different fittings. Then fully submerged the pump into a large bucket with the flow setting just below half way open. I then proceeded to plug into wall outlet, it turned on and worked for (2) minutes then shut off, I then unplugged it and removed it from the bucket. Seems like the product overheated cause it was very warm to the touch. I let it sit for about 20 minutes and it did pretty much the same thing.
