Intelligent Pink Elephants, Giant Killer Death Robots, and In-Laws. What Will Jack Do Now?
We're back in Atlanta six weeks after the action-packed finale of "Xenotech Rising." While healing from a concussion and some broken ribs, Jack Buckston is juggling the rapid expansion of his tech support company, the rapid progress of his relationship with Poly, and the rapid succession of crises that befall his clients. Oh, and a dozen giant killer death robots. Unfortunately, Poly's slightly complicated family has picked that weekend to be in town. Fortunately, Jack has a planetary queen shaped like a pink elephant and a lot of friendly vacuum cleaners on his side. The book is really that crazy--actually I've left a lot out. It's fast-paced fun with a ton of science fiction in-jokes that will give extra laughts to longtime fans of the genre. I do recommend reading the first book first. You'll still be able to follow this story if you haven't read "Xenotech Rising," but you'll spoil a lot of fun surprises for yourself.

The fun continues!
I enjoyed book one so much that I bought book two 10 seconds after I finished the first. I wasn't disappointed. He adds a few great new characters but mostly stays with the team from the first book. The story builds on the relationships and conflicts from book one with a little more fleshing out of his world, but is mostly more fun, lighthearted adventure. After finishing book two, read the prequel novella before moving onto book three. It fleshes out the first contact story from the opening of book one and adds a few characters that play a role in book three.Looking forward to book four's release!

I loved the first book
Grrr, I loved the first book. I was 'forced' to buy the second book because I HAD to know what happened next. I dearly love the concept of First Contact being with Big Business. However... Nerds Rules and Everyone Else Drools. I never talk about what is in the books, you can get that from the blurb on screen on Amazon. Yes, I quickly finish the second book. Damn! Now I've bought the third book.

Jack and Poly save the world
Poly and Jack have become my favorite Superheroes as they marshall their forces to save the World and Galaxy from the evil forces use of alien technology. 200 foot Robots, giant Pink Aliens giving a commencement address at Elite Atlanta University, nano plague and evil human cabal with whacky names. What's not to like?

Further Adventures
More madness for our favorite galactic tech nerd. The company grows as some of the folks he helps join. Lots more fun.

More Xenotech fun
This is another romp through a future Atlanta. Jack, Poly and friends, intergalactic and Terran, risk all, give up sleep and become very creative as they solve their clients' tech problems and save the world. Just as delightful as the first.

Could Be
Weirdly entertaining. As a retired US Army intelligenc agent, the action is a lot more organized and the people involved more competant than any thing I encountered.

More fun
I do enjoy this series. Light science fiction with plenty of word play. I'm looking forward to their trip to Las Vegas.

Hilarious
More puns, more in-jokes, and more dastardly plots. What more could you ask for in a Xenotech sequel? Schroeder once again unleashes his delightfully twisted sense of humor (the kangaroo-like aliens make good beer because of their hops?! Groan!) and the delivers another wonderfully entertaining tale.
