I needed to put up blackout curtains in a window, the curtains were to heavy for a tension rod. The brackets work perfect.

So far so good!
I just installed them yesterday but so far they work great! They are very sturdy and we’re super easy to install. We used a handheld screwdriver with the screws included. I used a wooden dowel for the rod which is not the firmest but I think it’ll be fine for now.

Use steel rod
If you are tired of your closet rods bending and deflecting, you can use these in conjunction with 1-1/4" EMT for the closet rod. It works out great, and will hold up a very heavy load.
