Works Well for my 1972 Datsun 510
I have a '72 Datsun 510 with a KA24 swap. I had issues with my car starting. Lights came on, fan came on but the car wouldn't start. Determined it was not the ignition by (dangerously) connecting the battery cable with the starter and having it turn on.This piece is easy to replace. It does not involve any special tools to install. It does not involve the key ignition portion so you don't have to worry about replacing the portion where your key goes in - it goes in the back portion of where your key goes in. I've had it in for about 2 months now and I've had no problems starting my car.Thank you. I would recommend this piece.

Awesome deal!
Installed on a 1979 Datsun 280zx to replace my 15yr old switch. Looks identical, installed in about 20min, and works like a champ. I can definitely tell that the engagement is much tighter as you turn the key to the different positions. Only used it a couple times so far, but if this thing lasts half of what the previous one did, I'll be very satisfied!

DONT BUY UNLESS YOU DONT WANT A KEY
Does not come with a key. only need something to go in the whole to turn the switch, not worth the 40$.
