DubbaDip Authentic Thai Spice and Herb Set for Curry, Lemongrass, Galangal, Chili and Kaffir Lime

I have not tried all of them yet but what I have used has been very good

I made Tom Yum soup tonight from some stock in a box and the lime leaves, chiles and lemongrass. All I needed to add was fish sauce and lime juice and it turned out amazing. In the future I will use a protein too, but this was a spur of the moment Thai soup and it kind of blew my mind how easy it was to make something with authentic flavor. I imagine these will last me awhile, but will certainly purchase again when the time comes!

I ordered this hoping to make Tom Kah Thai soup that actually tasted like Tom Kah after trying a bunch of different at-home ready mixes that fell far short of quality of taste and authenticity (plus they are REALLY high in salt and that is not good). I loved having real ingredients I can't find at the local stores. It was well worth it. The quality of the herbs and spices was very good for dehydrated items. I was happy with this product. The soup came out MUCH better this time! Yummmy my favorite!!

The spices are fresh and have a lot of flavor. I stuck the lemon grass, jinda chiles and kaffir leaves in the Vitamix and ground them to a real fine consistency. This makes it more convenient to use although as you can see from my 2nd photo all 3 cans make just half of one ground. The galangal is too hard to do this to and I just add it to soup and sauces. The ground combination I use to make roasted nuts, add to soup, spice up noodles and veggies.

I made Thai soup yesterday. First time using my items from this seller. I boiled the galangal for 2 hours and it was still like a tree trunk. Seller said it's not to be eaten. Why buy it then?? I saw online to just soak it for half an hour or so and it would rehydrate. NO IT DID NOT.

I gave as a gift. no feedback yet but he is an avid cook so I think he will be satisfied

Received the box of 4 jar, there was 2 jars of galangal but missing the lemongrass. Product themselves are great, but missing needed a needed ingredient for a dish.
