Mizuno Women's Wave Sky 2 Running Shoe

I used to be a distance runner, but have taken some time off to have children. Anyhow, I’m getting back up in my mileage and have since had to size up in my size as my feet grew with pregnancy. Go figure.I sized up a half size and these shoes are incredible. I have 41 year old knees, I run exclusively on pavement and sidewalk, and I have noticed my shin splints have disappeared. The cushion is awesome. I also like lots of room in the toe box for my feet to expand and breathe in the summer heat (Phoenix gets a little toasty). The toe box was roomy and my toes can move safely without blisters. Also, now that I think of it, I haven’t even needed to break these guys in. I’m 20 miles in and zero blisters while running in 85 degrees. I’d call that a win.I am also a pretty obvious supinator and these shoes give me good stability. I have noticed less stress on my iliotibial band while maintaining the same mileage. That was an unexpected surprise, I expected to need to reduce my mileage to get here.I got the bright red/pink color and they’re pretty. I know they’re a little flashy, but I guess it’s motivating to get me out the door on some dreary quarantine days.Overall I’m super happy and am considering buying a second pair to extend the life of this style in my running rotation.

Follow the instruction of others. This shoe, no joke, runs a complete 1 while size small. I usually wear a 7.5 and went up to an 8, could have easily went to an 8.5.As well, the laces are almost a smidge to short, better make small bows.But other than that, nice and cushy and have good support for running. 5 for cush and support, 4 for size and laces. Compared these to Adidas Cloudfoams and these won hands down for support. These are great for running, the adidas would be ideal for casual wear.

This shoe is very comfortable for me. I wear a half size larger in tennis shoes than I do in other shoes. In doing so, the toe box space has just the right amount of roominess.I did a lot of research before purchasing these shoes to ensure that they have a good neutral/cushioned support and the Heel to Toe Drop is the right amount for me (10 mm). These fit the bill well. I also love the bright color.If you can get all of this without spending $120 or more, you’re getting a great deal.

These are very comfortable. I have not run in them yet but I can tell these are going to provide a lot of cushioning for my jogs. The only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the arches in the shoe were a smidge higher. I have very high arches and was hoping for a little more support. I struggle finding shoes that have this. I'm going to keep them because I think the cushioning will compensate for it and I think in time these will mold to my foot. Mizunos are my go to running shoe and I'm excited to try this model out. I love the color and I love the way they look. Also I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly.

I wear a size 8.5- 9. I read through all of the reviews and ordered a size 9. They were way too small. They did fit on my feet but were very tight. I'm not even sure the 9.5 would fit the way I'd like them to.They are beautiful. A great color and lots of padding. Probably just not the shoe for me.

This is my first pair of Mizuno running shoes and I LOVE them. It's like running on a foam. Very soft and cushy. I ordered a size 8.5 and it is perfect. I have ALMOST a thumb's width room in my toe area which is good because it won't let my feet move forward. No holes in the back of the heels and my socks so far.I have been running in Asics shoes size 8.5 for many years but about 3 years ago, I started getting holes in the back of the heels. I had a FULL thumb's width room in my toe area so it is possible that half size larger contributed to the holes but I don't know. I walk or run on my treadmill 4 - 4.5 miles every day, 7 days a week and I am very pleased with these shoes. In fact, I am going to order another pair before they stop making this model. I recommend them.

I am an avid ASICS wearer, but have been disappointed with how narrow and less cushioned the Gel Nimbus have been. So I’ve searching for something similar. I have a wider foot and typically wear a size 9. I ordered a 9 of the Wave Sky 2 and felt really cramped. They are just too small. I had my 10 year old daughter, who wears a women’s 7.5, try them on. They fit nearly perfect on her. They have great cushion/padding and I love the color. I guess I will just have to reorder a size up. Just be aware that they do seem to run smaller than ASICS.

I tried the red ones on first and fell in love with them but they were too tight in the forefoot. I returned them and purchased the next half size larger but the shipment took way too long so I cancelled it. And yet I wanted them as I have had really good luck with the Mizuno brand, so I went to re-order but the price went up $30 so I selected the blue ones. These fit perfect in a loose comfy way. I usually purchase running shoes a half size larger but these I had to get a full size larger. I'm getting used to the color but the comfort is what totally sold me on them.

J’adore ce modèle de Mizuno! C’est comme marcher sur un nuage ;) Ils sont un peu étroits, mais pour moi c’est parfait. À faire attention pour les personnes ayant les pieds larges.

This is my second pair, I bought my first pair from a running shop and there were much more expensive than online, so I was incredibly pleased to be able to get the same quality at a much more affordable price. Really comfortable and cushioned so great for running long distance. A great purchase!

The shoes are great, I have narrow feet and the fit is good.
