43" Shock-Resistant Adjustable Trekking Pole and Hiking Staff by Crown Sporting Goods

This is not the product. You receive a brand completely different to whats advertised! Cheaply made and shake like crazy ( will be returning)

I received the item in two days, which was quick. But the item was wrapped pooly with used plastic bag, and the item tag was missing, only the plastic ring left on the stick. The rubber and foam grips look like it has been used. Theres is no user mannual or a piece of instruction attached in the box. I ordered a new stick, not a USED ONE! Most terrible thing is, I extended the stick to its full length and now can not be adjusted back no matter how I twisted it! I will return the item, too bad, my trip is coming up. Very disappointed.

I bought this hiking stick because I am a broke and poor person and didn't want to spend a lot of money. Well I guess I learned the hard way. The telescoping stopped working after ONE hike and now one link of the stick is stuck open while the rest cannot stay open. So the total length is going up and down as you walk, it's utterly useless and a safety hazard. Now I'll need to buy a new stick and spend another $20 when I should have bough a good one from the start.

I bought this pole to see how well it performed as a cheap pole. I gave it 4 stars due to the fact that for gentle rolling terrain it seems to do an excellent job. However with my first hike on extreme trails it prove to be somewhat lacking in durability. a 220 lb. person with a 40lb. pack on steep hills covered with rocks and snow were a little too much for it. It ended up with some mild bends in it, not enough that it is no longer serviceable but such that it is no longer retractable. Still for the price, if you're not going to expect it to be of the same quality as a more expensive pole it's an acceptable pole.

I can't walk so good right now so this helps with my balance problem.
