Nothing Included Adds Up to 20 inches
This item includes 2 moss poles, neither of which are 20 inches -- maybe 12 inches as a stretch of the imagination. The moss area is roughly 7 or 8 inches -- so I'm assuming they also included the measurement that will rest below the soil -- but the mossy part of the product actually only applies to 7 or 8 inches growing area. The good news is, the climbing poles are decently made. Did I miss something? Because, if you include the below-the-dirt pole area, the doubled measurement would be 24 inches. The growing area of both poles would be about 15 inches combined. I cannot determine how they came up with 20 inches of anything.

Not for leca or semi hydro
I really thought that these would work even if the stake part was wood, but I put one in a semi hydro plant and 2 days later it literally started to shred into tiny splinter pieces.I’m not really sure it’s real wood, or at least a tough one like a cedar wood. (I have a cedar pole and it hasn’t started to shred or mildew or anything yet).So it’d probably do ok for plants who don’t need a regular watering and can completely dry out. But I don’t think I’d even use this in soil plants otherwise.

Read carefully before ordering
This makes 1-20 in pole or 2-10 in poles. I miss read description and thought I was getting 2-20 inch poles

Good moss pole
Perfect for my baby monstera! Don't like that the bottom is a wooden dowel to stick in the dirt, but otherwise a good pole.
