Every is very cool the mate the termo the straw. I took it to my trip from nj to Colorado and I loved it . It was perfect . Also the giant box I kept it an use it for something else. 5 star

Super stylish, all stainless steel and efficient mate set!!!! I adore it!!! Got lots of compliments! The rare feature of a plastic top on the gourd, that just allows the bombilla, is grate to avoid the messy spills in the car or on the go! Tradition in the 21st century ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 PS: EXCEPTIONAL customer service, there was a tiny knock on the top of the thermos during transport, the whole thermos was replaced promptly 😃

The kit is at a great price and is very cool and stylish and modern. I can appreciate the price point and the ability this kit has to get me going on my Yerba Mate journey. However the things that I first noticed about the bombilla and the Mate is that they interfered with the Yerba in a major way. Each time I poured an additional cup and took a sip I came up with what was a very metallic taste in my mouth. I had to suck my lips in so they would not taste the tip of the bombilla. Additionally the thermos was not able to sustain the duration of my cup of mate. I can appreciate that this thermos is listed for $19 independent of the kit, yet is included in the kit. I however have to say that the bombilla and gourd leaves me wanting to buy another bombilla and gourd elsewhere.

Very impressed from the moment I opened the box, the packaging is beautiful, the set is very well made and easy to clean. I've been using it every day since I received it and I love it, now I want to get the backpack and a few more things I saw from them.

Very good quality and anatomical design that facilitates use, without water leaks, hermetic closure and easily transportable.

For the money, you get everything you need to start with mate, and that's the modern easy way with stainless steel, possibly the ideal step before curing a calabash and becoming a true matero/matera.The lid is a rather nifty gadget to take mate in the car or on public transportation, but plastic is an underwhelming material for many, including myself.Bottom line, an OK purchase that is stylish and useful enough but I would not recommend as the bottle doesn't keep the water hot very long compared to my other bottles. Also, even though the beak has a great pour for mate, it is composed of flimsy plastic pieces that I was already reassembling after two days. I see that they sell replacements on their site, but I am not going to just buy plastic pieces every few months, I will use a tried and true thermos bottle instead. Because of that, I would recommend to build your own kit despite the nice presentation, the very light packaging and the general appeal of this brand.*EDIT* Kalmateh offered amazing customer service by offering their other version of the thermos. It also has a great pour for mate, but unlike the other, it is very sturdy and has a nicer finish. Don't quote me on that as the outside temperatures are extremely hot, but it also seem to keep the water at the right temperature much longer and in a similar way to the good thermos I know. While I can't lift my reserves about the thermos offered in this set, the customer service is 5 stars and also upped my original review with one star as they won't let you down if you are not pleased with some of the products.
