Ideal for buffets and parties. Lids fit tightly to maintain freshness of contents and look good enough to include on childrens’ party tables etc.Only criticism is that they are quite brittle plastic so inevitably they can get damaged and therefore obviously a danger of shards of plastic, typically from the corners of the black base trays, contaminating the contents).Typically, with “normal usage”, I tend to find that about 1 in ten get damaged each time they are used. On that basis they are reasonable value so long as you are aware of the safety risks.
