Excellent quality!
As a Professional Organizer I use LOTS of labels. I carry the machine on the job. I only buy the Brother Brand labels. I have never had a problem with printing them and they always stick. Have not tried the off brand, maybe they work too, not sure but based on my experience I highly recommend these.

Works Well with QL-820NWB
I almost gave up on these working on the QL-820NWB. It wasn't listed in the printers above that they are compatible with, but I had a list directly from Brother that claimed they worked with it. I had some difficulty feeding the initial label through the print head for some reason, but my handy hemostats helped me pull it through; then they run perfectly. No problems now, and I will certainly order these again when I run out. With 800 labels on the roll, that will take a while however. They are the perfect size for my purposes, labeling the back of photos.

These really work well!
I purchased these labels for the Brother QL-570 printer, a printer I use occasionally for mailings of 800 -1000 postcards. By occasionally, I usually find I have to go through a "how did I do this before" phase and this is where the printer and their labels really shine. The labels come in their own plastic "frame" that can only fit one way onto the printer. Every time I switched the label size or replaced it, it was straightforward and took no effort or time to do. The machine seems to be able to feed itself with the end of the label strip and not once was even one label wasted in replacing spools. I even dropped the QL-570 once off a small desk onto my wood floor which loosened the label spool off of the machine. Cringing because I thought I may have broken the machine (and I really needed to get these labels printed), I was pleasantly surprised to find once I put the label spool back onto the machine, all worked well without anything breaking. The only thing I cannot comment on is I have not compared Brother labels in terms of cost to other label makers. But this is one purchase that I really like and have had no complaints at all.

Software glitch between this (DK-1209) & QL-700 printer (Sibling Brothers :-)
My brand new QL-700 printer worked fine with the included sample roll (Standard Address), and DK-1219 round labels. This DK-1209 (Small Address) roll was recognized on screen as the correct size (1.1" x 2.4") BUT in "portrait" mode -long slim vertical mode. The software allowed the rotation to a normal horizontal-landscape orientation. But, hitting the "Print" button caused a "Tilt" error message. After checking printer-computer connection, roll in printer install, and much effort with the software - Same Error message.Next morning the difficulties (wasted time) were compounded. Connecting via phone - impossible!!!! Only robots & ads, and gross, endless music bits and a repetitive (every 30 seconds) "Please hold while I connect you with an agent". Email efforts were also difficult to navigate.I finally found a phone number to Brother Corporate Headquarters - Investments. A human switchboard operator answered and connected me with another human "Agent" who listened to the problem and scheduled a call-back to me from an English-first language techie, later that day. Problem Solved! There is a glitch with DK-1209 (Small Address labels) not being recognized. The work-around is to install Editor v5 which allows the rotation of the skinny vertical orientation...and the Printing.I own 3 other Brother labelers, starting in circa 1985 - Brother Labelers are great! Connecting with Brother (support) was the most frustrating, time wasting obnoxious experience I've had. I started using computers in 1981 - Apple II+ then IIe, and then HP/Windows from the beginning.I hope this is helpful for DK1209 buyers. AND PLEASE LET CORPORATIONS KNOW - Fire the robots and the foreign language techies.Follow-up 6/12/14 After doing the work-around as per the Brother Tech rep, It does not work. THIS BROTHER LABEL DK-1209 (SMALL ADDRESS LABELS) DOES NOT WORK WITH EITHER THE EDITOR LITE OR EDITOR V-5 SOFTWARE & THE QL-700 PRINTER.

Brother labels seem to work better than compatibles
I have used both Brother and compatible labels. The compatible labels did not cause printer problems, but I have found that Brother labels are better. The adhesive does not weaken over time. They are wear and water resistant. Compatible labels are fine if you will use a roll quickly and if you don't expect the labels to last long, but if you want a label which stays on and is wear resistant, go with the Brother label and not a compatible.

Shipped Fast, Great Price
These were a great price compared to my regular office supply store. They were shipped faster than I expected. Labels are the perfect size for small envelopes.
