A wonderful sketch book. So far I have used acrylic and posca pen . The paper took it perfectly. Smooth and even with absolutely no bleed through on the other side . It is a lovely size and has a beautiful feel to it. The elastic is also a good addition. I have 300gsm sketchbooks for heavier works and was a bit sceptical of this only being 200gsm, however, it is extremely suitable for acrylic and pen. It has a lovely smooth paper which would be suitable for more detailed work. There is not really any “tooth” to the paper so I don’t know how watercolour would be on it. I would definitely purchase this sketchbook again . I am an artist and definitely recommend this Rhodia sketchbook.

This has 32 pages so is perfect for Inktober. The pages do not bleed through.I used one last year and loved it so bought another this year.I have given 3 stars as I opened it yesterday and one page has a brown stain right across it which is disappointing.

Ho comprato 4 sketchbook Rhodia touch, 3 pen & inkwash (2 quadrati, 1 formato A5), 1 calligrapher A5.Pro:-carta spessa, liscia, molto bianca (nel calligrapher la carta è più gialla e più ruvida)-bella copertina robusta in similpelle spessa e rigida, con elastico e segnalibro-uno dei pochissimi sketchbook europei in formato quadrato grande (da 19x19 cm) (gli altri 2 sono il Seawhite e lo Studio, entrambi inglesi, ma entrambi non restano aperti a 180° e hanno carta più scadente)-si apre (e resta aperto a 180°)Contro:-la carta è spessa, ma ovviamente non adatta a inchiostri o acquerelli, a meno di usarli con pochissima acqua. Ma questo vale per qualsiasi carta di cellulosa. Come tutte queste carte, i prodotti liquidi si possono usare purché con pochissima acqua e al massimo applicando 2-3 strati.-la RILEGATURA: i singoli fascicoli (cioè i fogli ripiegati in due e inseriti uno dentro l'altro), cuciti insieme, devono poi essere incollati gli uni agli altri per uno spessore di 1-2 mm, per evitare che si separino. Questa incollatura è fatta malissimo. Probabilmente usano una colla troppo debole o troppo diluita, fatto sta che in TUTTi gli sketchbook acquistati i singoli fascicoli si staccano uno dall'altro al primo utilizzo. Il risultato è un solco bruttissimo esteticamente (ho allegato delle foto per mostrare il problema). Col tempo e l'uso, sospetto che lo sketchbook rischi di sfasciarsi. Ho provato a riincollare i fascicoli con colla da legatoria, ma ovviamente, incollati due volte, i fascioli poi non si aprono più completamente nelle parti riincollate.Questo è il motivo principale per cui non comprerò altri sketchbook Rhodia touch, a meno che non risolvano questo difetto di rilegatura. Non ho voglia di sistemare ogni volta uno sketchbook da 15 euro.Davvero peccato!

This is my first time ever seeing that Rhodia having a sketchbook range for their journals, as they normally cater towards writers or those who are looking for a notebook/journal to write on. Saw this randomly browsing through amazon, and thought why not purchase it as I was curious. Let me tell you, this is one of the most beautifully packed sketchbook I have ever seen, it's got a really nice leather pressed logo on the front that says "Rhodia Touch".The paper is very good quality a smooth finishing, the paper weight is about 200gsm judging by the thickness, it's good enough for markers, posca pens, and also inks and very LIGHT wash, normally for 200gsm the paper WILL BUCKLE. If you are looking for something thicker then this isn't the sketchbook for you if you're planning to mainly work with watercolor as it's too thin for heavy layers. It will buckle as mentioned before, it's very smooth meaning pens, inks or fountain pens will glide very easily on this paper.I really like the size of the sketchbook also it's like about the size of an A5 Moleskine but a bit wider, it's VERY LIGHT! It's absolutely perfect for traveling on the go, it doesn't take much space on your desk either. I would highly recommend this product! Will purchase again!

Tras prácticamente haber acabado este cuaderno, mi valoración es positiva. Lo he usado con lápices de grafito, lápices de colores, rotuladores a base de alcohol y base de agua, acuarela y rotuladores acrílicos.Lo recomiendo para lápices de grafito y de colores sobre todo, creo que el papel va muy bien con estos dos medios y he conseguido buenos resultados. Se usa bien con rotuladores a base de agua, ya que no traspasa a la otra cara del papel y con acuarela, aunque con esta última el papel se arrugará algo.No lo recomiendo para rotuladores a base de alcohol. Aunque puedes trabajar con ellos en este papel, no es el más acertado, tiene algo de textura de más, para mi gusto. Mejor un papel todavía más liso. Lo mismo digo para los rotuladores acrílicos.Buscaba un cuaderno donde poder hacer un poco todo, y a nivel general este cumple con las expectativas. Además, se abre totalmente y es cómodo de usar.
