Daddy-Long-Legs and Dear Enemy

I was looking for a good quality print of Jean Webster's Daddy-Long-Legs, with the author's original illustrations. This is the only one I found. The bonus for getting this book is, her other book Dear Enemy is also included.

My daughter absolutely loves the book. She says- "It's a very sweet and touching book. Jean Webster has done a brilliant job in portraying the feelings of Judy (and Sallie, in Dear Enemy) in the form of letters."

I love both these books. I already knew and loved Daddy-Long-Legs, but my copy is ancient. I was very interested to read the sequel. It was great to find both books in one paperback. I also wanted the layout which I was used to, as some copies had squashed in too many words on each page. This one is perfect.

I read the stories in Japanese in my childhood and loved them.It was nice to read them in original language.I could find interesting topics in the original which were skipped when they were translated.Thank you!子供時代に読んで大好きだった「あしながおじさん」と「続あしながおじさん」英文で読むと、日本語に翻訳した時に省略されていたいろんなエピソードがわかってとても面白かった。最高でした。ありがとうございます。
