It baffles me that these cookies receive so many negative reviews. The ingredient profile is much cleaner than the competition, substituting allulose for the typical maltitol or other sugar alcohols which often cause gastrointestinal discomfort in many individuals.Moreover, they come with a big dose of high quality protein compared to the competition as well.It seems like many people believe the taste is awful. Now, this is clearly subjective to each consumer, but I—for one—really enjoy the peanut butter flavor. Do these taste like a normal, sugar-laden peanut butter cookie? Of course not, but they also don’t come with the corresponding blood glucose and insulin spike that comes with the normal cookie either.I tested my blood sugar before and after eating this cookie and only saw a 3 point rise after an hour (which is usually when my blood sugar will be at it highest post-prandial).In sum, I love these cookies and will continue to buy them in bulk. I receive a Subscribe and Save shipment of 24 cookies each month. If that doesn’t reflect my enthusiasm for the quality and value, nothing does. 😉

This is a deep disappointment. I know I purchased a delightfully delicious, multiple chocolate cookie from this company before, but this most definitely is not that cookie. It is dry, chalky, reminiscent of black licorice without tasting as good, and has an after taste that lingers long after attempts to banish it by drinking any liquid at hand.Before trying this reject of a treat, I gave one to a friend promising it would be worth eating regardless of advertising having a low sugar content. After one choked-down bite, I had to track down my friend to break off a piece of my cookie for her to try. Not only did she second my assessment, she put her bit into her mouth then spit it back into her hand as quickly as her taste buds could relay their assessment. Her bit wasn't even chewed before being rejected. She gave me back the unopened cookie I had given her saying she didn't care what I did with it, but she would not be eating it.Great amount of protein for a cookie, but you have to be able to eat it for the protein to do its job.

So,Love Lenny & Larry Cookies?Well be prepared for these variations which were designed to provide an extreme protein boost for workouts. The taste is different due to NO sugars to provide a lower the carb count to adhere to KETO and other workout requirements… that’s the important point… so the taste is oddly bitter in comparison to their (delicious) main line of cookies.If you do take a chance, read the package and decide… I like both types, the 4oz monster cookie for a meal replacement and these KETO COOKIES which do NOT rule in flavor BTW, but do excel in nutritional content which is the ONLY reason to choose this cookie.At $21.95 is an okay price,search for a lower price to get a GREAT DEAL on L&L Cookies.

I bought one of these before it was really expensive individually, so I think this is a huge deal right here! I think it tastes a lot like a cookie, I mean not a cookie out of the oven level, or Chips Ahoy flavor, but as far as texture and flavor it kind of reminds me of maybe like a vegan cookie or sort of like a specialty cookie, you know it's not supposed to be like a regular cookie that has questionable ingredients and little nutritional value, but I think it tastes pretty dang good and considering it's a huge protein source and has the Prebiotic fiber and real butter, plys non GMO, 5 Stars, all the way! Lastly, only thing I could have used was some more chocolate chips, that would have really made it over the top for me but I could always have a side of 50% cacao chocolate chips with it!

Favorite cookie but the box says 12 cookies but the box that arrives always has 11 cookies.

I typically buy the quest protein cookies, but have seen these in Walmart before and decided to try a box because they were $2-3 cheaper than the Quest ones for a box of 12. I do a ketogenic diet and I count calories at times throughout the year, so I did like the fact that it had the same calories as the quest chocolate chip cookie and it only had 1 net carb instead of the 4 that quest has. And the size of the two are roughly the same. However, I will say that the taste of the quest chocolate chip protein cookie is far superior to this in my opinion. The quest one tastes like an actual chocolate chip cookie, whereas this one I will say tasted more like a dietary supplement made to look like a cookie. Hopefully, Lenny & Larry can improve upon this in the future as I do like the benefits outside the taste, but for now ai think I will stick with Quest.

All of the other Lenny and Larry’s products I have tried have been delicious...I wanted to try these as they seemed to be a bit healthier than the original cookies...these are a no-go for me. First the smell....it is strong and unappetizing when you open the package. The texture of the cookie is both gritty and dry like a stale cookie. The taste...like eating a scoop of dry protein powder mixed with chemicals. Requested refund and I rarely do that however these are inedible.Love these products usually, however this version is a 100% NO.If you want to try these, save $20 and buy just one before you commit to a whole box.

Not as good as the ones with sugar, but a great sugar free alternative full of protein and a soft texture as well.

Well. My husband and I were quite excited to try Lenny & Larry's higher protein, lower carb cookies, as their 'complete' cookie line is delicious, if a bit high in calories/carbs. All I can say is that in order to up the nutrition and macronutrient levels, they really sacrificed taste and consistency. These are awful.The chocolate chunk cookies have a funky, icky, trying-to-be-maple-but-not-quite-cutting-it sweetness to them and the texture is somewhere between sawdust and styrofoam. I have 10 more of these and I keep thinking I may come up with a way to use them in something...but I may end up just throwing them out. Yes, they really are =that= bad.

Will repurchase.

I HAVE had them in the past and usually it is good but this seller here and has sent yhem in such a bad shape that its fisgustung....it soggy and rastes absolutely terrible...do not buy from these guys

Have been eating quest protein cookie for a while and decided to try this as it was lower calories. Regretting the decision now. I am stressed about how i am gonna finish this

Bought this and the chocolate chunk. Both were inedible - essentially throwing out 2 boxes of cookies. The macros are good, nothing else is.
