Waste KingAnaheim AH-1300 Quick and Hot Instant Hot Water Tank

We had one for many over 10 years but it gave out. We bought this one thinking we would need a plumber to install lol! Nope, so easy to install tourself if you are replacing it. It is an amazing product and plan on installing one for my new home which doesnt have the automatic warmer fawcet yet. The price is better here than at big retail stores or kitchen designer stores. Some places sell it as a set (heater and fawcet) be ready for a price tag of up to $1400.00. Buy them seperately to save big.

I have an Insinkerator hot/cold system with filtration. I've replaced the water dispenser once and the tank twice using original products. The Insinkerator products seem to have a knack for breaking down just as the warranty expires and Insinkerator won't even consider a courtesy replacement (my second tank started leaking 1 month after the warranty expired). This time I decided to take a chance and replace my leaking tank with this one. This tank isn't as sleek looking as the Insinkerator and is a bit deeper, but it appears well constructed. Actually it may be better constructed as the water in/out nozzles are metal as opposed to the plastic ones on the Insinkerator. Installation was relatively easy as the hoses are the same size; it took me about 15 minutes including repositioning the new tank. All required fittings were supplied with the exception of a metal clamp and an extra foot of water intake line. These cost me a total $1.21 at Rona. I've had it in for four days now and it is working fine. Actually, without the vent hose attached, the hot water does not sputter anymore, so in one way it's working better The only minor complaint I have is that the temperature adjustment is not as easy to use as the Insinkerator tanks.Update: I've been the using the system for about 3 months now and it actually performs better than the original. I not longer get the drip and sputtering I used to get and the recovery time of tank seems to be faster when compared to my original Insinkerator.

This is a replacement for an existing Waste King which was installed in 2002 so after sixteen years and I don't know how many thousands of gallons of water it required replacement. Was totally amazed they still make this model and I got it at my front door in 48hrs.for a very good price point.

Bought this heater for a kitchen reno as well as taps and sinks. Stock piling items to be sure that i had everything ahead of time. went to install tank and it leaks right from the tank body and Amazon says i have had it to long and cant return it.....this is Bull Pucky

unit came with the push fit fitting for the water out connection but it would have been nice if the unit also came with the water supply (intake) fitting. It would have made the installation simple. But because it was missing i had to order it separately on line from another supplier so it significantly delayed my ability to get the unit installed.
