ActiPatch Knee Pain Advanced Long-Lasting Relief(Packaging May varry)

Knee collapsing freq, putting me on the ground. Was offered knee surgery eight years ago, instead used approx seven of the Actipatch since 2016. Successfully delayed knee surgery, anticipating same good results again.Ordered another one with Velcro straps, order filled wrong. No straps, bowtie shaped adhesive strips instead. Gave strips a try for a day. Strips stick better to themselves than to skin, bunch up into wad of black clingy plastic given half a chance. Frustrating. My $32 Actipatch slid off my knee and gone same day. Went back to grocery store, not in lost and found. Decide it was accessory failure, next step, chat with CS. Good guy, screen name Francisco, quick refund. No joy on ensuring better fill next order. If happens again and I want I can notify and Amazon will investigate itself. Ordered replacement. . UPDATE - Amazon shipped another Actipatch with black strips. Decided to try again, staying around house using two strips instead of one. Adhesive seems pretty good if applied carefully. Tomorrow, cut strips into pieces and use the pieces. After they go, back to Nexcare tape.

I used to do heavy lifting in college in my early 20s. One time, I over exerted myself and got injured badly. My right shoulder and surrounding muscles were torn up so bad that I almost pass out in the gym. The whole area was all bruised up. The pain was unbelievable. It is cheap enough to try out and you can see if it will work for you. I introduced this product to a neighbor that is in her late 70s with back and knees pain. I've been using the Actipatch for years. It definitely works, but I've always had to buy them from Canada because our ridiculous FDA saw fit to hold up over-the-counter approval of such a thoroughly harmless and extremely helpful and effective device. I bought my first Actipatch in 2009, and I have watched over the years as Bioelectronics has improved the quality of these devices. The knee device, which I received today, is no exception. The brace which holds the actual Actipatch mechanism in place is quite sturdy, and constructed of tough one-size-fits-all elastic straps with Velcro to affix it to your knee. I'm wearing it right now, as I write this review. The Actipatch is quite comfortable, and you will get used to it very quickly.I injured my knee in an athletic incident over 25 years ago, and I never had surgery for the torn cartilage and tendons that resulted. This patch works very well for me. After a few days of wearing it, the stiffness and discomfort I live with is greatly reduced, and the relief lasts for days. The device itself works through pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF). It does not work through magnetism, as other reviewers have suggested. The device is electronic, powered by a button battery, and it sends out pulsed high frequency electromagnetic waves which basically "pulse" edema away from the area, and it reduces swelling and inflammation. As I said, I've been using it for 8 years now, and so has my wife, who has seen her carpal tunnel syndrome alleviated tremendously by using an Actipatch.I cannot recommend this device more enthusiastically. I've been a Bioelectronics customer for years, and I will continue to be.

This product listing is INTENTIONALLY DECEPTIVE! The listing states "...Knee Pain..." and the picture of the package shows the knee wrap positioned on someone's knee. The manufacturer's website shows that the ActiPatch can be purchased either with the knee wrap or with the black kinesiology tape to use in positioning the device. The package I received showed the black tape on the picture and had several pieces of the black tape inside along with the ActiPatch device. And by the way the black tape only holds on knee placement for a few hours at best. Naturally, the seller will counter this review with the fact that the listing says "packaging may vary". I believe the very reason that is stated is because the seller knows full well that the buyer is not getting what they think they ordered. The reason I gave this three stars is that the ActiPatch DOES WORK! It takes a few days to feel results, but my wife says that her knee pain is definitely reduced. So if your want the knee wrap to hold the ActiPatch in place on your knee, do not order from this seller. Or you can end up using Johnson&Johnson 1/2 inch First Aid Waterproof Tape as we did. It works much, much better than the black tape that came with the product.

I’ve been wearing now for 2 days solid and not a sign of anything in terms of pain relief or anything really. The pouch is too small for the wire anyway and pokes out of the end. Very disappointed, I really wouldn’t bother. I had great hopes!Update. The seller takes no responsibility for the return or problem. They say it’s up to me to deal with the manafacturer. I have had to claim through Amazon’s A to Z option. Terrible terrible terrible. Avoid

I very rarely do reviews but with the Actipatch I feel I have to do one. Firstly I brought this for my mom who is 82 years old not in great health. For the last 4/5 years she as needed a new knew but unfortunately because of her heart the doctors won't risk the operation due to the anaesthetic. But it doesn't help that she needs to take warfarin so is limited to what pain relief she can take. So this is where the Actipatch comes into it, after years of buying different leg braces etc I came across a article while on holiday about this miracle actipatch. I brought one for my mom which as transformed her life. No more taking constant paracetamol or trying different kinds of pain relief which either made her ill or sick. It really as been a god send for her she is a different person. She still walks with a stiff leg and it's never going to get better but at least the pain she was in is now a low 2 to which it was 10plus before. Hope this helps anyone who is thinking of buying one of these.

When I have knee pain I wear this 24/7 until the knee is healed. the material holder is not great, I normally stitch the wire loop into the outer edge of the knee "caddy" to stop it shifting the area in the middle of the loop is where the healing pulse electromagnetic therapy happens. increase blood flow reduces inflammation switches off the pain receptors.Old technology in a new package have used these continuously till such that my knees were fine for a few months by them selves . 720 hours pain relief.I used this for a snapped Achilles tendon for pain management and to aid healing, where I wore it continuously outside the cast at the ankle and the on the ankle proper when wearing the Bekam boot. It works and healing time is speeded up. Advised friend to do the same and he too found it beneficial.

I bought this to relieve knee replacement pain. My husband used this for hours at a time and a few times overnight without any relief at all. This item looks very flimsy, it says not to ben the wire however because of the size of the hole in the knee support supplied you have to bend in lengthwise to get it in.I know some people have said this works however i am sceptical myself. My husband has used tens but because of the length of time you need to keep tens on for pain relief, it can be quite uncomfortable.I can't recommend this item as it didn't work...i wish we hadn't wasted our money. I can't return either due to it being a medical device.

I have a recurring injury via my shoulder which hurts alot, I would say out if 10 (10 being the most painful) that I'm usually a 7/8 on a daily basis and I have to say this works wonders for me. I've been using this for the last few years and have never looked back.
