These are so great. They work as well as Lutron but you don’t have that extra line visible like they do! At first I was frustrated because it wasn’t flush with the wall and leaving a gap and then I realized I was putting the base on backwards.... I do find that they work way better with my new switches and plugs as my old one are more pushed into the wall which creates a bit of a gap. This happened with the more expensive brands as well.

Looks good from afar...but the “stainless steel” cover piece is flimsy plastic that doesn’t sit flush against the backing plate. Just holding it in my hand I can see that the pieces are warped/bent a bit, despite the packaging being fine. All pieces received (3) were like this. When you touch the top and bottom of the cover when everything is installed, there is a bit of play. Perhaps some double-sided tape on the inside might help, but I don’t feel like investing more money and time into redoing the wall plates. 3 of these single plates cost more than $50 CDN after taxes. Didn’t feel like a worthwhile purchase/upgrade IMHO.

My local HD didn't have this in stock when I needed it. Thankfully Amazon had it in stock and received it the next day with a few other purchases. It does its job, albeit at a pretty higher price. Unfortunately there aren't too many options when dealing with the particular sensor I purchased that required this, so this gets high marks for simply working and looking good.

The treatment on the edge is what makes the Claro plate stand out from other screwless wall plate. It takes a bit of practice to make the switch/receptacle to be flush with the wall plate. Top plate really stands up to the unbreakable claim - I pride the top plate off several switches and nothing broke.

Replaced all my wall switches from the original builder's to the glossy white Lutrons. The clean appearance with no screws visible is a huge selling point, and the thickness of the plate makes it feel substantial. The glossy appearance is also attractive.Only minor quibble is that when you remove the faceplate, it can bend a bit and you need to take care that when you reinsert it, the corners don't appear to be bending out from the back plate.
