I bought this watch for my EMT class. It is way nicer than the student watch they recommend at the school book store. This Scrub Watch feels very solid on my wrist. I really like the strap material. It is very comfortable. It also keeps the watch in place without sliding around like other watches do. The 15 second markings on the dial make it very easy to take pluses. I like the look and feel of this watch so much that I started wearing it as my everyday watch, even on the days when I don't have class. It feels like a really nice watch but it's not so expensive that I'd be too worried about damaging it or losing it like I would with a high end watch. I bought mine here on Amazon along with a bunch of other accessories for my class like pen lights, etc. If you want to give it as a gift and have it engraved, check out the Speidel website where you can select engraving options at the time of purchase.

I was looking for something different to buy for my wife who is a long time RN Nurse. She loved the watch. Its great and she wears it to work each day.

Very large but that makes it easier to read and perhaps faster to check a pulse. Most people would wear this on the outside of their wrist but I am constantly knocking it against objects. I also work at a desk so if I wore it on the inside of my wrist, it would be hitting or rubbing against the desk. So, I wear it in the side of my wrist and it’s very comfortable and I find it much easier to read and take a pulse. The band is comfortable and easy to clean. My one complaint is that the hands don’t glow much and since the watch doesn’t have a light feature, you can’t tell the time in the dark. I am a volunteer on a rescue squad and the lighting in some homes, or at some accident scenes, is not ideal which makes it difficult to check a pulse. If they come out with this version of Spiedel with a light… I’ll definitely buy it.

Easy to read and not too expensive. One thing I like is that I can clean it with alcohol wipes on the ward since the wristband is durable. It also looks great.

This watch is what I needed for my nursing class.

I have purchased 2 speidel watch’s. I am a nursing student and they are easy to read. They just don’t last long. Both have lasted less than 6 months before they stopped working. I even changed the battery, and they still keep stoping. And I cannot return because it is more than 30 days. I will not purchase anything else from this particular brand. Their products just don’t last.

Watch worked great until a patient transfer and a simple snag caused it to come all apart. Not very durable.

I'm very happy with this watch. The dial is easy to read and I love the red border that marks 15 second intervals for taking heart rates. It is reasonably priced but it doesn't look cheap.

Out of the box, the quality is apparent. Setting the date window adversely affected my blood pressure, but I got it done!Nice big face, you can feel the mechanics as it ticks, and it feels good. I'm geeking out on this watch.
