Not true to size
Three stars because these Keen boots are wide enough and warm. That's the plus. They look sturdy but some rubber on the side sole looks peeling and doesn't look like it was glued completely. My main complaint, though, is that the boots are short. My foot is barely a size 8. These size 8 Keen boots are not true to size. A hiking boot should be made a little bigger to accommodate thicker socks. And although comfortably wide enough they are really short in the end of the toe area. I did not really experience it until I actually wore them hiking and the pain began. My toes slide right up to the end of the boots and are smashed. I do not want to have to think about my feet hurting when I hike. ?Some reviews said they run small. Maybe an 8-1\2 would have worked better, who knows? It is too late for me to get another pair. I thought these were higher end boots but outsourcing manufacturing has brought quality down in everything. Unfortunately, I am stuck with these this year. Next year I will go to an actual sporting goods store to try some on and get another brand. Even if I pay more. Being comfortable in footwear when hiking is very important to me. I am glad though, these were on sale.

UPDATED 12/30/2018 Almost a Good Fit, Thought Keen had a Roomy Toe Box?
I've never tried Keen boots before. I ordered this boot in an 8 and 8 1/2, normal boot sizes for me, my 3rd and 4th pair of boots I've tried from Amazon. I had high hopes that the toe box was roomy enough for my borderline wide feet. The 8 was too small before even lacing it up. If I were buying a summer hiking boot I might have kept the 8 1/2 but as I wanted a winter boot I also want to be able to wear thicker socks. I also always add in arch support inserts and often add a thin memory foam insert. I felt these boots needed the memory foam under the toes as they were a bit hard in my opinion, unfortunately that made the toe area just a tad too snug across the top so both pairs are going back. The boxes arrived in one package, the outer package was torn, the box for the 8 1/2 was smashed up a bit, and the right boot has a deep crease in the leather across the top of toe. I have 2 return labels and will have to find my own box to return the one pair. Not happy about that or that neither size worked out.To help others with sizing my size according to the shoe store is 7 1/2, I am right on the line between normal and wide width.Back to boot shopping. Unfortunately.Appreciate Amazon Prime free returns!***************************************************************************************************************************************Update 12/30/2018I ended up buying these Keen boots in a size 9 from a brick & mortar store a few weeks ago so I have upgraded my rating to 4 stars. The reason for the higher rating is because they are waterproof as advertised and for the walking I do which is in fields, woods, swamps, for an hour or so in Northern MI, they are warm enough with thicker socks. I have done chores wearing them including filling a tank and cleaning stalls, no wet feet, but if I don't move enough my toes got cold so not for standing around in.The reason I will not give these 4 stars is because even with an extra full memory foam foot insert and good socks I don't find them very cushy under my toes; I've had cheaper boots that were much more comfortable in that area and when it's time to find a summer hiking boot Keen won't be on my radar, I will be looking for a nice lightweight boot with more padding.

comfy hiking right out of the box
Nice looking.Wide toe box, I have near flat, narrow feet but these fit great with laceup. Super comfy.Wore on 2 hour hilly hike in 25 degrees with breeze and fresh 3" snow; also snowed through hike. Wore thin wool socks and thick ones over.No issues; just a bit noticable inner ankle rub at end of hike on one boot, not unexpected on first wear on hills.Feet very warm/dry/toes felt great. For Keens I size up for winter boot from 9 to 10. With Merrells, though, I have to size up to 10 1/2.Will wear them for hike tomorrow in feels-like-9 degrees.Tongue adjusts nicely and stays put, laces don't budge.Seems good grip but tree roots under snow slippery; no issues though I chose not to use ice treks. Not stiff or heavy.Very comfortable warm Keen bootWomens Revel IIINext day Hike, day 2 of wear. Much colder. Had to change hike route bc friend had issues so instead of starting with steep climb in sun we started on flatter shaded area for 1st half hour. Wore same socks as yesterday, toes very cold bc we had to stop every few minutes for friend's ice trak issues. Once we started climbing in sun toes stayed warm remainder 2 1/2 hours of trip including downhill. Will wear extra socks when temp has feels of 7-9 degrees due to changeable hiking factors. Very comfy on day 2 as well.

Spendy but worth it!
I don’t want to buy these shoes for winter hiking and snowshoeing, but being a lifelong Keen fan, I knew they would fit and fit well-not to mention be so durable and will last my lifetime. I’ve worn these through the mud and water and my feet stayed warm and dry. If you live Keens, you will love these, they fit my wide feet well!

This is a great Keen Boot! The seller also offered great serviced shipping.
I already own a pair of these KEEN Women's Revel III Cold Weather Hiking Boots and have used them for summer hikes and for snowshoeing here in the Pacific Northwest. I wanted another pair but they are no longer available in the US. I ordered and tried three similar Keen Hiking Boots but they were too tight in the ankle so I had to return them. I was happy to find this original style available overseas with reasonable shipping costs. Not only that, they arrived a couple of weeks earlier than anticipated. I wear a size10 in a street shoe but ordered a 10.5 in these hiking boots which is perfect with hiking socks and even toe-warmers in the winter. There is plenty of room in the toe box and excellent traction. They also work well with micro-spikes.

Best boots!
I was so happy to find these shoes! I already have a pair that has withstood rain, snow and fire! They have a roomy toe box and fit great with my thick socks. I did order a half size bigger to accommodate the socks. I could not find these on Keens website so was thrilled when I found them on Amazon!

Prima Laufgefühl für mich
Mein dritter Keen Wanderstiefel.

Roomy
comfy good with thick socks. Kind of wish they were leather as easier to look after than nubuck.

Fel storlek
I ordered size 42.5 but received size 42. Wouldn't be a big deal with regular shoes, but for hiking I need half a size bigger to prevent bruised toes. Apparently they don't have 42.5 so the sizing options aren't correct. However they were otherwise extremely comfortable and perfect for people with very wide feet. My feet are shaped like pancakes, so finding shoes wide enough was a miracle. The only negative was that the laces seemed a bit fragile, I don't think they'd last long.

Large around the heel
I ordered my normal size. When I tried the boots on in the house they seemed very comfortable. However, when wearing them outside, I found that the heel area is very large and my foot was sliding around. It gave me blisters after just half an hour of walking! I will try them again with insoles or thick socks, and hope this will help, once my blisters have healed up!!Update: I have worn them again on several occasions. For short walks of 20-30 mins they are okay, but for longer a walks, they still rub and cause blisters. Basically they have become redundant... I will give them away to a charity shop and hope the new owners have better luck with them.
