GM Genuine 23258990 Tailgate Liner

This is a great, ready to install product for my truck. It was super simple to install, fits well, and included the correct hardware. The only thing that was off was that it did not ship in a box, more or less it was just the tailgate protecter with a shipping label stuck to it and the hardware and paperwork taped to it, so there is a slight risk of losing the hardware during shipping, but I won't knock a star off for shipping practices because this is a great product overall and I am very pleased with it.

Received in box with hardware tie-wrapped to part. Very good fit and match to existing tailgate holes. Drilled 3 additional holes and installed self-tapping metal screws and washers in base as no fasteners or holes there, but needed in order to keep lower border from popping up. Appears very durable and had what appeared to be “Genuine GM Parts” sticker attached.

Installation was very easy, but the one I received was trimmed to final size poorly, and nothing had been deburred. Also due to the mounting design, the edges do not sit flat on the tailgate. Disappointed, but it will work for my needs.

Perfect fit for my 2016 Chevy Colorado. Super easy install with existing screws. Would have been 5 stars but had to go buy washers. Existing screw heads go right through the holes. Other than that, Perfect.

Arrived as described. Install was very easy, but factory screws that shipped with liner were very difficult to install with the self-sealing rubber compound on them. I actually broke a Torx bit trying to screw one into the tailgate.

Its OEM and a tailgate guard, what else can i say but that it works and has cup holders. Should have been standard though on a 34k truck.

The liner fit my 2016 Colorado perfectly but the mounting hardware did not. After a quick trip to Home Depot and about $2 in washers, it mounted nicely. Good protection!

Add a few screws at the bottom .
