This bad boy is awesome. Right out of the box, booom racing in the pool. It's fun, durable, works great, comes with two batteries, can't say enough good things. And the price is crazy. When I was a kid these things were 100 bucks. Now you can get 4 for 40 bucks. These are great. Couldn't be happier with it. Oh, and for real, unless it's sitting in water, it won't run, so don't get frustrated if you're trying to make it work in your hand or wherever, it's gotta be sitting in water to work.

Wish it came with a bigger battery. Jet ski only turns on when in water. It uses a twin prop system for turning as well. Not sure of their scale 1/42 but it looks close to 1/10 or 1/12 scale. At +6" it would be a +21' jet ski. Travis Pastrana dirt bike is 1/12 for comparison. Will fit nicely on a utility trailer 1/10.

These are fun little boats, BUT, the steering fails after a short time of use. I purchased 2 of them, steering failed on one, got it replaced and then the steering failed on the other one from original purchase. I'm returning all of them since there is apparently a design issue.

I put this thing in the water and it would only go about 2 mph, super slow they claim 20mph!!! and then it got about 40 ft away and lost signal and got stranded in the middle of the lake. Luckily we were fishing and managed to cast out to it and tow it back in. When it got back in to shore there was about an inch of water inside the boat where the electronics are. Seal was intact on cover. Water came in from elsewhere. Returned the next day.

Got a pair for my grandsons (9 and 4), and they enjoy them. They've run them through the waterfall on the pool, and the four year old has shoved his under the water a couple of times. Whenever I open them up, though, they are perfectly dry inside.They move at a pretty good speed for a pool. The 'steering' is simply cutting out power to one of the props, so they're not super maneuverable, but get the job done. There is a 'reverse', but just barely. Battery life seems pretty good. All in all, a good value for the price.

I got this for my husband as a funny Christmas gift. He provided a "list" of gift ideas for him, which were all very expensive things such as a Cayman Porsche and a jet ski. He didn't provide a picture or a link, so I got him a jet ski....just not one he could ride on. Lol! We haven't tried it yet, but it will be fun to take with us when we go to the lake throughout spring and summer.

This is a nice pool toy for younger kids. It's easy to use and has a long running time. Perfect for a 6 year old and not expensive. It's rather slow, which is why it's ideal for little kids or adults who have drank too much to drive a real boat.

This item worked for only few days, now the the remote control no longer works with device. I requested to send back for refund and now have been quoted half the price of the original purchase in return shipping costs. This is ridiculous! It was a gift for our son for Christmas and he is devastated.
