I needed a muzzle that was strong, comfortable, effective, durable and humane for my dog who has aggressive tendencies. I've been purchasing muzzles for my dog for 11 years so I've tried many different types of muzzles with mostly unsatisfactory results. The open ended nylon muzzles don't allow complete protection for people who may be bitten or for the dog to breathe or drink easily. The plastic Italian basket muzzles work well and allow for breathing, drinking and they're comfortable but they break easily during the normal course of wear. Coated metal muzzles are durable, effective, allow breathing and drinking but they're not comfortable for the dog because they have no flexibility and can dig into the dog's face. So I was desperate for a muzzle that is durable but flexible, comfortable, and effective and I found The Company of Animals Baskerville Muzzle. This muzzle is the best muzzle that I've found in the 11 years I've had to use one! The muzzle fits him comfortably (it allows him to pant and drink), it's flexible without being flimsy so I know it will stand up to him rubbing it or pressing against it, it effectively protects others from being bitten and it allows me to pass treats easily through it so I can use it while training him in public places. He's currently been diagnosed with cancer and while at the oncologist, the veterinarian remarked on what a great muzzle The Baskerville muzzle is and asked where I had gotten it so she could recommend it to her other patients who need a muzzle. I cannot praise the makers of this muzzle enough!

I was very pleased to find this recommended for my scavenger. I measured my dog and ordered the corresponding size on the chart. Apparently you must order a couple of sizes bigger than the measurements. I managed to get it on, but his nose touched the front even after removing the insert. It didn't matter though, since he pawed it off and had it hooked over his lower jaw in seconds. Return was simple and refund prompt.

It did not have a collar attachment nor the face piece that attaches to the collar. I was totally unsatisfied. No matter how tight I got it my dog had it off in seconds.

I needed two muzzles, one for a pit bull and one for a red heeler. Size 4 fit the pit, size 3 for the heeler. Easy to put on and adjust and fit well at first. After a dozen or so times of wearing this muzzle, the top of my heeler's nose was rubbed raw after one strenuous attempt at getting the muzzle off. He did get it off- halfway, the top of the basket was stuck in his mouth and he was using it for a chew toy. My pit did the same exact thing and this was WITH the center head strap on both of them. The pit's nose began to get rubbed raw as well eventually.So now I am searching- again- for a muzzle that won't cause sores on the top of my dog's noses and that they cannot get off no matter how hard they try. I don't know if that even exists :( .

We have a poop eating dog. We tried using this muzzle and he just (sorry this is gross) but pushed the poop through the front of it. Just made for grosser clean up.

My Jack Russell races so this is a necessity. Unfortunately, I lost my last one that was of the same brand. The previous one had a leather strap which was a pain so I'm really happy it comes with the nylon snap buckle. To keep the strap from loosening, I simply tie a knot in it. Works a treat. BTW, she won $120 wearing one of these ;)

Easy to quickly put on a difficult dog.

My little chihuahua is a rescue dog and has issues with being picked up and put down, so I got this type of muzzle to make it easier on him when I have to take him to the vets or other places where he has to be touched and handled by people he doesn't know. Love it!

Er ontbrak een artikel bij de daadwerkelijke levering, maar het werd binnen 2 dagen geleverd. Wat voor mij een zeer goede service is en het beste is dat het wachten echt de moeite waard was. Omdat deze muilkorf perfect past bij mijn Jack Russell Terriër. Bedankt en ik raad deze muilkorf aan. Nu geef ik het graag 5 sterren.

Came quickly despite Christmas time. Seems to be very sturdy, and of good quality. Fitted as expected. Our dog dislikes it lol, but keeps her from eating stuff she shouldn't!!
