Egg-cellent!
Best egg poachers we’ve ever had. Wiped them with a little EVOO, dropped in a fresh egg, popped them in a skillet with 1” of boiling water and covered them with the skillet lid. In about 5 minutes - wala- perfect poached eggs that didn’t stick. Bonus - cleanup was super easy!!! Definitely recommend these!

Exactly As Advertised!
Follow the directions on the box. It's genuinely THAT EASY! The only fiddly part will be timing it so you get the yolks exactly as you like them. For my pan/stove experience, 4 min 30 sec will be runny yolk with soft set white, 5 min will be gooey yolk, well set white, 5:30 will be soft yolk. Anything more than 5:30 will be firm yolks which is useful if you'd like to make pre-peeled hard boiled eggs. One thing to note, 2 eggs will fit in one cup but won't cook evenly unless you really want them hard boiled in which case they need about 15 min to be fully set. I really don't find 2 per cup to be convenient or necessary but someone else might.Clean up is super easy as long as you remember to coat the whole inside with oil. Cooking spray works good but I like butter. Even if you forget and they stick a little, they'll scoop out easily with a spoon and don't need any scrubbing to clean. I really LOVE these more than I though I would!

Great value
When you read reviews on an item sometimes you have to wonder what in the world folks are doing to get the unsatisfactory results they report. This item is well made of high quality materials and very simple in its design. If it leaks when you drop an egg or pancake batter in it I've come to the only possible conclusions possible. They are: Your using grandmas pan from just before the end of "the big war", you know, the one that hasn't had a level flat bottom since Nixon was president. Or.............. You burn your food to a crisp on a regular basis and the bottom of your pan has the same texture as your neighbors driveway. The ring is level straight and sturdy on its bottom, so your pan should be too. Suggestion? Rub a little oil or butter around the inside of the ring. Put a little pat of butter inside the ring while you let the ring heat up in the skillet. Once the ring and skillet are hot and the butter is sizzling, then crack your egg inside the ring or add your pancake batter.

Works great if you have an undamaged flat bottom skillet/griddle
Great on a flat skillet/griddle. Only works on a flat, not damaged surface. Will leak against curved sides, a scratched/damaged surface, and the "ridged" style skillets.Might leak out a tiny bit even on a flat surface if not oil sealed well, but not a big deal. Seals quickly and it's easy to trim off the little leak or just flip it against the contents when the ring is removed.I bought the 4 inch which is great for burger sized breads. Hangs over an english muffin a bit - but I like that. :) The 3 inch would be perfect for muffins or grands biscuits.

Best Way to Poach Eggs
My husband cooks breakfast and he loves poached eggs. We had an old pan with little cups that came out of the metal tray that fits inside the pan. It was such a pain in the neck cleaning it, so when I saw these cups I thought I'd buy them for him. What a great way to cook poached eggs. Very easy to clean as well. You won't be disappointed!

Work great! NO LEAKAGE!
These egg rings work fine.I am disappointed at the reviewers who report leakage below the ring, which likely has a simple solution. The reviewer may simply not be PRE-HEATING THE PAN enough. Yes, in the first batch of eggs I made with such metal rings, my eggs did pour through the bottom. But then I got smart and pre-heated the pan nice and hot first. Almost everything stays inside of the ring.Try it. You'll like it.
